Welcome to the Learn To Make Epic Low Poly Scenes In Unity [Intermediate] ! This course should be taken if you've already took the Learn To Make Epic Low Poly Scenes In Unity [Beginner] course. The purpose if this course is to enhance what you've already learned in the beginner course and introduce new things like Shaders, apply new modeling techniques and much more! In terms of Plants VS Zombies this is practically the second wave. This course will be semi fast pace and it should prepare you to the Learn To Make Epic Low Poly Scenes In Unity [Advanced].
In this course I will teach you how to create the Swamp Blue Scene. Keep in mind this course is targeted for intermediate users in Maya, Zbrush, Unity & Photoshop. If this course is too fast for you, I suggest taking the Beginner course first where we created the Portal Green Scene from scratch and went through all basics and fundamentals. Its best to have fundamental understanding first before shortcuting your way through everything so at least you understand the process & you don't miss out on basics.
In this course, you will learn to apply & enhance what you've learned on the beginner course which are below:
Organizing & Structured Planning
-You will learn how to plan out, structure, and manage your ideas so you can work efficiently.
-You will be exposed to different art resources and game development community so not only me but other professionals can help you.
Model Efficiently in Maya 2018 and Zbrush 4r7 & 4r8
-You will learn the basics and workflow of modeling from Maya to Zbrush.
-You will learn how to freestyle, find your own art style & most specially enjoy working on your craft.
-Maya and Zbrush interface will be as familiar as your hands.
Color Theory & Color Schemes
-You will be profoundly familiar with the fundamentals of Color Theory and Color Schemes.
-You will learn how to effectively learn, remember everything you ever study, and most importantly achieve any goals you've set for yourself.
Create Gradient Textures
-Creating palettes and making color combinations will be one of your specialties.
Import/Export
-Having unclean import/export with a lot of errors will be a thing in the past.
Set Up Scene In Unity
-You will learn how to design and set up a scene in Unity.
Lighting Scenes In Unity
-With all the knowledge you've accumulated in Color Theory, lighting using different Color Schemes will make all your creations stunning and beautiful.
Unity Particle Effects
-You will learn how to create a mass variety of VFX (particle effects) in Unity that will elevate your scenes or game to the degree of a pro.
Keep in mind I am not going into details of what we've already learned on the Beginner Class. If you want an extensive explanation of things especially Color Theory I suggest you take the Beginner's Class first before jumping into this because the Beginner course will set up the foundation of why we do what we do. But if you can follow along without taking the Beginner course, please, I welcome thee.
So what's new on the Intermediate course?
New modeling techniques (Let's up the complexity!)
We will add a Shader into the scene

I liked the course at first. But as it went along it seemed like there was more and more mumbling, lots of timelapse of fiddling, ideas were left out or changed. A lot of the vfx stuff wasn't explained very well, and so much of it seemed like gross overkill. The bit at the end with the camera was pretty hard to pay attention to, the lady had to use notes within the recording to try to explain what she didn't make clear in the record. It just seemed like as the gaps between the initial recording and the last increased, the interest and planning and instruction decreased until it was really hard to pay any attention to at the end.

Really good series! I'm actually doing different things than shown in the course, but she gives very good general advice and I am just learning a lot and improving my art bit by bit. Thanks for the awesome course. Can't wait to start the 3rd part!

Great second course! Good walk through of process and well paced. Yume puts a lot of information into these courses. She keep it professional, but casual enough that you feel like you are there with her learning the secrets of the trade from a well versed friend. Kudos!

The cutest and funniest teacher you can find in Udemy. She doesn't bore you with theory and complex explanations, she loves what she does, and she wants to share her passion with you!
