This is the best NextJS course I have taken! Instructor John Smilga takes you step-by-step through the entire application, explains everything he is doing in details, and provides all the code sections in a very structured README so you don't have to waste time typing along. Thank you John Smilga for an amazing, well-structured and organized course!

Another amazing course. John is an excellent teacher. I like his teaching style, which is sometimes laced with humor. I have learnt a lot of new and interesting thinks. The README.md file was very helpful to me while watching the course as it contains code snippets and valuable informations for each video. A big thank to the teaching assistant for answering my questions in the comment section and discord server. I hope this course will be updated in the future with some new features. I recommend everyone who is learning Next.js to check out this course. See you in the new tutorial.

Such an amazing brilliant project. I would request more advanced update like adding filtering option and regions/cities option and not only countries. John and Abuzar are extremely talented people! Unlike other courses, we are getting technical support in this course and we are learning more from our mistakes Hats off..

Compared to react.js this course is not that good. It mainly focuses on shacd-ui and many important concepts are not covered. Deeply disappointed

The course is excellent. Plenty of useful content with well-chosen examples. What I would like to see is saving the content of the page, let's say that for the content of the Property Details Page we have a button that we can click and export the content of the page in the form of a pdf document (so that the entire content with all images, calendar, text, etc. is in a pdf document) .

Thanks John for the amazing experience. I just completed the course on building a Full-Stack App using Next.js 14 with server actions which i think is the most amazing way of data fetching and mutation and beyond, Typescript, Clerk Auth, Prisma, Supabase, Tailwind, Shadcn-ui, Zod, and Vercel, and I am thoroughly impressed! .The hands-on approach of the course allows you to build a real-world application from scratch. Learning how to use Prisma for database interactions and Supabase for real-time data was incredibly valuable. The practical examples and projects provide a solid foundation and gave me the confidence I needed in applying these technologies in real-world scenarios. This is my 4th course with John and I always recommend him to anyone who is either a beginner of even advance senior developer. Thanks again and looking forward to see more courses from you.

I'm about half way through and this NextJS course is very well laid out by John; he really does teach and not just throw code out for you to copy (but it is up to us to research more). In this course, he first has a brief tutorial to play around with methods, and then you move to the large project. I love all of John's tutorials and this one is my current favorite as well as a great resource.

All of this course is excellent. I enjoyed a lot to have a readme file with all the code to copy/paster. It is in the right order and it's 100% correct. Usefull to speed up coding while teachers is still typing manually. So for the first time we, as students, are faster than teacher typing code It's a brillant approach to due a short introduction to next js concepts before deep dive into a project. Teachers are replying fast to my questions We use zod for validation, prisma for orm and supabase (postegres) for this project. For each tool used, teacher is explaining very well, at good pace, and without any useless repetitions, all reasons of what it's typing. Very good ! I disliked the choose of clerk instead of next-auth for handling auth Also I used for the first time here the shadcn ui library, an I am not sure of reusability of this knowledge, but it's fast to learn and easy to use actually, as every frontend course, the part of assembling the ui is TOO long compared to main topic of the course: nextjs. Probably, a pre-assembled project without any functionalities could be more usefull

This is the seventh course by John Smilga I've purchased, which says a lot about the quality of his teaching. I was really excited when I saw this course because it covers all the tools I want to learn, and John’s teaching style is fantastic. Just a heads-up, his React course I purchased late 2020 was recently updated with a ton of new content. I especially enjoyed the new TypeScript section, which I finished just before starting this course. Also there is a brand new Next.js course with the update. Amazing. Right now, I'm in the middle of the course, and as always, it’s a pleasure learning from John. The course is well-structured and easy to follow. Help is quickly provided in the q&a. I highly recommend this course and also John to anyone looking to improve their web development skills!

I just finished the Next.js course, and it was excellent! After John added the Stripe payment integration, it became even more amazing. The course is up-to-date with modern techniques like server actions, Shadcn, lazy loading, Next.js 14+, TypeScript, Clerk Auth, Prisma, Supabase, Tailwind, Shadcn-ui, Zod, and Vercel. I also completed the TypeScript course a few weeks back, and it was great too. I can't wait for John's next courses. I would recommend this course to anyone looking to improve their programming skills. Best course I have taken! I apologize to John for a review I left a few days back. I meant to give it a 5, but I got too excited and must have clicked a 4 by mistake. There is no way this course is a 4; this course is a solid 5 out of 5. Amazing work, John. Thanks so much!
