Microsoft Excel 2016 Bootcamp - Zero to Hero Training (Udemy.com)

This video is a good match for me because I already know the basics but wanted a refresher course on some of the items that I do not typically use on a daily basis. The video moves at a nice pace for a refresher. Not too slow, but not too fast so that I am missing part of the materials. I like not having to continuously stop or slow down the video.

I was looking to expand my knowledge and Excel was always one of those systems that seemed a bit scary to approach. Having just completed Dan's "Figma UI UX Essentials" course, I knew what I was getting into and Dan's teaching style once again has helped me overcome any hesitation going into Microsfot Excel. Highly recommend!

If you would like to learn Excel, but you fall asleep every time you open it, then this is an excelent course for you. :) Dan's playful teaching style, can make you see Excel in a new light. It gave me good grasp of Excel essentials while having fun. Thnx Dan.

Dan's courses are always great because it's hands-on and not a boring lecture. I like that he actually gives you projects and practice assignments. Whoever decided that giving lectures was the best way to teach must have been an attention freak. This was very helpful for me. I will continue to take these courses and recommend them to the people around me.

Loved the course, Dan! Another awesome, well-explained Bootcamp with great exercises along the way. I am a designer who has never really used Excel and wanted to learn the basics. I learned so much thanks to you. Especially loved the part about charts/graphs which will be helpful in working with non-designers to make data visualization prettier.

I've used spreadsheets for years, but I was self-taught and used google and youtube to fill in the gaps. Once again, Dan doesn't disappoint. He managed to showcase some pretty cool features that I was never aware of. Looking forward to the next course from him already!

Loved the course, Dan is on point with the instruction. Very pleasant instructor to listen to, like the joke inserts. There is plenty of information in the course to get you started. He moves fast, but you can slow down the video speed if you have trouble following along. My only remark is that Dan often does things without saying what he's doing. For example he would select a bunch of rows/columns to apply a feature but not saying how many. Or he would change the format of a section or change the width and not saying what he did. I like to follow along and if the spoken instruction doesn't match the on screen instruction it forces me to pause or rewind the video - observe what he's doing and follow suit. It's a nit picking, but that's why I gave 4 1/2 out of 5.
