Modern Flat Design Masterclass in Adobe Illustrator (Udemy.com)

This is my third course with Dawid. He's an awesome instructor and is very easy to learn with him!

It was very interesting.

Happy so far, illustrator is my 'least used adobe app because its always had this mysterious confusing aura about it. I've already learned several things I didn't know how to do before.

Really learning a lot of tricks and enjoy the course

I gave it 4 stars because it seems like it would be a good course for somebody who already has experience with Illustrator. The description of the course says it's for all skill levels, but I beg to differ. I would not recommend this as a first illustrator course. At the start of the first project, he moves way too fast opening color options that a newbie will have to pause and rewind so frequently that the whole experience becomes increasingly frustrating from the get go. After a brief lesson on getting colors from outside web sources, he suddenly presents you with totally different color swatches that are set up on the side of the art board and says OK lets get started. Whoa, wait a minute. How did you get those and how did you get them so neatly placed in your workplace? I had to switch back and forth between Essentials and Essentials Classic just to try to figure out where he was getting all the configuration and color options just set up the Layer 1 sky color. It started to feel like I was over my head with this course. I'll come back to it later after I've taken one of his other beginner Illustrator courses.

A very good course which can really help you fines your computer skills.

On my journey to become a professional in Illustrator this has helped a lot. I now have a better knowledge of how to make flat images. You start to understand how they are made, you learn to make all sorts of shapes from the mixture of other shapes. You are not a master at it of course...this comes with a lot of practice but this really does help to open your eyes, to make you see how those objects are made...just by mixing shapes.
