very thorough explanation, i haven't learned anything that i didn't know about compression but for a free course this would be great for someone with 0 knowledge, the teacher seems nice and professional as well

It was a nice course, just miss the part of the Gain Knob in compressors. While compression we tend to reduce the gain of a sound, that's why is very important compensate that reduction, while turning up the Gain Knob as the last step of a compressor. Thanks

Like the presentation style. All clear and easy to follow. Like not being referred to as 'guys', but I'm not sure about 'friends', either. My preference? 'Welcome' and 'Welcome back'.

The instructor is good and the lesson a very good introduction to a concept. I think the course should be labelled as 'Introduction to' so people are aware it doesnt cover more detailed aspects of Compression. I got the course free and really enjoyed the course but if i was paying the full whack i would want this to be a bit longer (30 mins isnt alot and some of this time is spent switching between several short modules)

Great teacher. Very objective and didactic. I recommend it to everyone. The practical use of this effect has greatly improved my music. If your goal is to help and motivate people, congratulations. You are succeeding. Greetings from Brazil.

Straight to the point! For someone that has no idea what a compressor does, this was a good course, but it's nothing I'd pay for. All the information in here can be found on millions of videos in youtube.

Great beginner course on compression. Even if you know a lot about it, it's probably a good refresher for you. Good visuals and a really great host make this an excellent course!

I really love the enthusiasm as well as the great explanations both visually and auditory- Thanks so much for a super awesome course, I've already learned a lot and this has already opened my eyes, helping me understand what the point of using compressors is, and how a compressor works. Thanks a lot. An easy 5 stars to me.

Good intro for people with no knowledge of compressor. The title should be more like "What is a compressor" or something like this, to emphasise the fact that the course is for people with no knowledge of compressor at all. I tend to never read the course description and rely on the title ;) However, good content covered for a total beginner.

This is not intended to be a full course about compression, it's only a foundation to get the basic principles. And it is fully accomplishing this task. Very good starting point. Thank you!
