Wanted to Learn the Nashville Numbering System in Detail Now I'M Learning Step by Step Still Learning The Course Thanks so Much

By Ben Buzzard on 8/13/2025

I have been a bass player for over 25 years. I hit a self imposed plateau a decade and a half ago. I could play root notes from a chord sheet, with minor improvising using a "zig zag" pattern or a little bit by ear (while risking sour notes.) These lessons have exploded my view of the fret board. I feel like I can go many many more places with confidence once I am told just what key it is in. So I would recommend this to bass players as well. Study the scales. Learn your minor 2,3, and 6 and use them appropriately for improving between major notes. Maybe a Nashville numbers for us simple bass players should be next?
