Very clear explanation!!! I am doing Vibe Coding, but I wanted to learn the real coding to have a minimum understanding of Next,JS and others. I never classified before the ending of the course, but he deserves. Thanks

Halfway through at this point and the course has been pretty good. There have been a couple issues with out-of-date content that I had to solve myself or just leave incomplete, but so far nothing deal breaking. Piotr goes into a fair bit of detail about how things work, and leaves out super nitty gritty details on things like how to use TailwindCSS. Mostly you can just follow along and get the gist of it. But I'll definitely be wanting to do my own reading on exactly how Tailwind works after the course so I feel comfortable building something on my own. If you're familiar with React, this is a good way to learn how to get production-ready with Next.js.

The course is very good; it covers all the new features in version 15, although it can be confusing. The first modules are based on previous versions and don't cover the new features; I assume this is due to the ongoing changes to the NextJS API. The integration with Supabase is brilliantly explained, and it really helped me understand the product's capabilities.

Great work. This is very succint, straight to the point and well presented. The instructor is engaging and has thorough knowledge of the subject matter.

Very solid course—well explained with a lot of useful information. The only downside is that the author doesn’t answer most of the Q&A section questions. That said, I had no issues following the project, even while using TypeScript instead of JavaScript. I highly recommend it to everyone. I initially joined for a Next.js refresher but ended up gaining a lot of Supabase knowledge—so much so that I’ve decided to migrate some of my personal projects to Supabase.

I am new to react and next.js. I'm up to lecture 23 which is in section 5 and have to say this course is incredibly easy to follow. The instructor leads it in a structured manner and everything just works. I struggle a lot with many tech courses because I have a particular setup, but I haven't ran into a single issue with this course.

The course fails to delve into what Next.js is; it remains superficial, omitting teachings on NextAuth.js among other crucial topics. Instead, the author solely focuses on teaching Tailwind CSS, which deviates from the intended course focus, resulting in significant time wastage and code pollution. Furthermore, for data and authentication, Supabase is utilized, further cluttering the components' code. Lastly, the instructor neglects even to create a homepage. Removing Tailwind CSS and Supabase would diminish the course's value content by approximately 60%. This does not align with my expectations of a Next.js course. --- I edited the course rating, raising it by one star, because the instructor responded to what was described above.

Great course where the buildup is slow and new information is divided in small chunks and slowly builds up. Nice explanation on why we are using a particular element and discuss the pros and cons of it. The drawings and their explanations makes it much more digestible.

Piotr is an excellent instructor. I would have preferred him to use TypeScript, though, instead of JavaScript. It is a lot more difficult to make TypeScript work with MDX which meant I had to look for solutions elsewhere and had to adapt my MDX-related code.

Edit: 5/5/24: Small update. Important to note that the course does not use typescript for the projects, instead opting for plain javascript. As someone who has moved on to working with type safety (TS/C#), it's quite painful to code using regular JS. I chose to follow along with JS instead of using TS myself because I copy the code from github that's provided from each lesson, (which is highly convenient, thanks Piotr). That's the only real con I have here. Piotr, considering adding an addendum section where you convert everything to TS, or just consider using TS for future applications please. Original: This is truly a top quality course by a great developer. I'm a mid level engineer with 3 YOE and know React/Angular/Nodejs and dotnet. I bought this course to learn NextJs and Supabase. This course starts at a basic level and can be slow for intermediate/advanced developers. I still watch through the beginner videos though, just in case I can learn something I didn't know before and luckily I haven't been disappointed. Also, I have always been critical of Tailwind CSS (just use regular CSS!) BUT he was actually able to convince me on how awesome it is. I'm only two hours in and I'm impressed with the quality of this course. The instructor speaks at a perfect pace - clear and easy to understand, even for more complex topics. He demonstrates concepts with clear flow charts. I'm particularly impressed by his knowledge on small little details that I didn't know about before. It's clear the instructor has a strong grasp of the material, and he does a great job of explaining it in a way that's both informative and engaging. I own 52 Udemy courses. I just discovered Piotr and he's now in my top three Udemy instructors (My other two being Neil Cummings and Colt Steele). I wish him success and I'm really looking forward to extracting as much knowledge from him as possible in future courses. Piotr, consider making some in depth courses for intermediate developers where we follow you along in the creation of bigger full stack applications, that includes authentication, authorization and payments. That would be amazing. Cheers
