About night photography, there is a lot of information and tips. easy explained. I think there is only one issue missed, at night photography how to take pictures of moving objects. Some trials and adjustments would be nice to add to this course for moving objects at night.

By Beth Heesen on 10/25/2021

The milky way image on the "cover" of the class is false advertising. Milky way shots are not discussed within the class. The topics that were discussed were mostly fun and informative. Phil is by far the better editor and his portion of the tutorial on editing was very good. I learned some things and recommend this course to others.

This was a fun course! The night photography tips were inspiring to watch and combining those with the various individualized lessons on editing the night photos...fascinating! Looking forward to more night sky explorations which now will capture more of what I've been wanting to capture for so long. Thank you!

By Carlton Thompson on 6/16/2021

This course was an amazingly quick yet thorough look at how to take night photos! My first attempt after taking this course produced amazing captures that's impressed so many people (but most importantly myself!). I've definitely got room for improvement but I have a solid foundation to build off of now.

Great course for night photos! Would have enjoyed a little of urban settings, such as getting long exposures for highways or capturing cities at night, be it urban street life or a big city scape. But great info on editing the pictures and how to take them!

By Petr Kuklík on 1/21/2021

Really like this. These guys know what they're talking about and they're passing all the info in non boring, easy to understand way. You can tell, that they want you to learn and they like what they do. Also active on FB and IG and in all courses you learn a lot in general. Thank you!

I still need to buy a fancy camera but I love the photo's that come out with the high tech ones. I am amazed at what looks like shooting stars (the short lines across the sky) right? Thanks for making these courses. I'm a Realtor® and your info has helped me with my pictures of homes. Not this course but another one you have I'm in the process of.

By Brad James on 1/17/2019

This is a good course and I got a lot out of it. But the picture which got me to buy the course in the first place is misleading. I wanted instruction on how to capture fantastic images of the galaxy or whatever is featured in the picture. But what we got was ordinary night sky. That's good, but it's not what was advertised.

By Edward Hudgeons on 1/13/2018

At this point, he is dwelling a bit more on LightRoom than I anticipated. I understand there are those that are not as familiar with LR as myself, so I understand, but I wasn't expecting that. There were questions that popped up about the captioning, and I hit the X not realizing it would turn off the query forever. You do have some problems in the captioning such as spelling, and also misinterpreted lingo. IE: 1600 ISO was 16:00. Some words were just off base: vignette was "min yet" and "edit" missed in a couple of ways -- "at it", "eh et". A few others were made but I cannot remember them at this time. Overall, it is a good course. In the night photography portions, I gained some good knowledge, but in the editing parts, I got frustrated.

By Metta Foley on 8/5/2017

I learned some things I didn't know in regards to night time photography. I always had problems shooting at night with capturing stars. My photos always turned out blurry or you couldn't see the stars or it was just too dark. This course helped me to choose the right settings to get the shots I want. I loved the tutorials in lightroom/photoshop to touch up the images. It was just enough and not overly done. I'd never tried light painting before. I want to get out at night with a light now and just draw away. All in all, for a beginner this course was great! Thanks guys for teaching me some new helpful things. :3
