The course is excellent, and its format has been the most effective for me thus far. It begins with theory, followed by practical application. Instead of coding alongside the instructor, he presents prepared code and thoroughly explains it. This approach is highly efficient, as the videos are recorded in one take and the instructor demonstrates a deep understanding of the subject matter. He often uses relatable real-life examples to help illustrate concepts. I am thoroughly enjoying the course, having completed only half of it, and I already feel as though I've learned a great deal!

Great course. If you need to get up and running quickly with PL/SQL, this is definitely a great choice. Pros: - there is not so much theory that it would put you to sleep but enough for you to be able to understand the main concepts - each piece of theory is accompanied with a working code that you can try out - the biggest plus is the instructor himself - he definitely knows what he is talking about - frequently responds to questions in a professional/friendly manned, which is becoming a rare occurrence these days The only thing that I am missing in this course is some form of exercises but then again, there is a lot of working code that you can study so it is not such a big issue. Thanks to Tim Miles, one of the best instructors that I have ever encountered.

DB Design:: Very good! The breakdown of normalization into the 5 steps, and the instruction on how to tackle each step was clearly explained with good examples. To me, the bad design / good design examples at the end were really "spot on" and just brought everything together. Thanks Tim!

wasted whole day for searching sqlplus in my system and have surfed internet just to access sqlplus. for a beginner it should be clarified how the sqlplus is installed in case the latest sql developer package not having the same. Later got to know it has to be installed separately and also nowhere it is mentioned that we need to go to which path to launch it.

The instructor's explanations are very well organized, articulate, and thorough. One of the best online courses on PL/SQL I've sampled. Great course for beginners as well as experienced professionals looking for a refresher. For any concept that may be difficult to understand at first, simply re-watch a few times and you'll get it.

The course is excellent so far with lots of hints and tips, and the instructor appears trustworthy and is easy to understand. However, the instructor referred to downloading a zip file from "this page" rather than downloading from the Oracle website, but the zip file doesn't appear to be available.

I will rate it as 5 stars because the instructor really goes into detail, things are pretty understandable (over different data types and all) but I must say that the setup courses were an agony, long long videos basically describing how to create shortcuts and what you will be learning and using and not much of the installation itself and just a lot of repetition where its not needed about desktop cleanliness, could be more accustomed to someone with a bit prior programming experience since it's not basic SQL but it's PL/SQL, so the target audiance will know basic computer usage :)

I found Tim Miles to be the best instructor I have ever encountered. I almost spent 60000 to learn Oracle SQL and PL/SQL in the year 2013 with 'NIIT' and other institutes, but I was not happy with the content or lectures. The good thing about Tim is he gives tips based on his real experience with is very helpful.

Great course, have learned a lot and has filled in a lot of missing blanks for me personally. I just have one request that has been bothering me from the beginning of Fundamentals I. Could you include a create user (schema) into the course to be used as our workspace? This can even be part of the course setup. I know we are using XE, but please do not use the SYSTEM account.

Excellent curse with an amazing teacher who shows a deep knowledge and knows how to explain it. Easy to follow and a good mix between theory and examples. I think could be easy to ask for some practice on a few of the difficult to understand topics such as triggers. Highly recommended.
