PCB design with Altium Designer (Udemy.com)

The course was disappointingly basic and lacked depth. It failed to cover essential topics like creating a proper design checklist, differential pair routing, and path length matching. The lessons mostly focused on simple routing techniques, ignoring more advanced but critical PCB design concepts. Additionally, it skipped over detailed explanations of design rule checks for both schematic and PCB, which are vital for professional design workflows. Overall, the course felt incomplete and not suitable for serious learners aiming for industry-level competence. The width of routes was defined freely, with limited amount of analysis and reasoning. Lot of time spend in the component documentation should be limited. What is good - component library was delivered by the instructor.

The Instructor is truly expert in Altium. I really appreciate the efforts he has taken to make such thoroughly informative course. I am very lucky and also glad to learn Altium from this course. The main thing about this makes different from other videos, is this instructor also tells us different "Shortcut Keys" which are very useful and time saving . Not everyone tells that. Really, I have learned a lot. And now I can say , I can design "2 layer board" properly because I have an adequate knowledge of designing now. A very useful class about Altium. I would have liked that the library management would have been explained better. I still don't understand what is the best location to put a new library, or what is the location of the existing libraries. I see in the videos that other students don't understand this point fully as well, for they have put the library withing the same project.

The course is very good, it meets expectations well, however, I have the impression that only the fundamental tools were shown. I wish there was an extra video showing a few other software tools that weren't featured along with a few more tricks to speed up repetitive work (if any).

Highly informative!!! I Instructor has great knowledge about Altium and PCB designing in general. His approach to creating errors in practice and providing a practical solution was very helpful. He knew all the shortcuts and easy ways to complete the project. Highly recommended !!!

Awesome Basic Course to get up and running with Altium designer. You'll learn alot of idiosynchronsies... For more advance content you'll have to watch the youtube projects at end of the course. But the best all around hands-one experience for such a tutorial. Excellent....!!!

Yes. It was as great match. Having multiple short videos makes stopping and replaying instructions easier than in long videos (Feranec). Also, these videos show many features that I'll need to use. I hope there are follow up videos that do deep dives into Altium features and tricks.

The course is precise and accurate. Instructor explained everything not just verbally but creating a problem and fixing it with certain options for clarifications. Question Answer session is also good. I recommend this course for all beginners who want to learn PCB using Altium Latest Version. Bonus section is very helpful.

This was very valuable course. The instructor was so passionate and enthusiastic to pass his knowledge that it kept me going. I liked his philosophy of making PCBs beautiful. I was a total beginner and now I can handle the basic updates. I am very happy that I selected this course.
