its simple and to the point

The photo shop controls part was not explained that well.

By Tim Deichsel on 9/13/2020

Would be great if he could explain the size of the brushes which he constantly switches around. As a PS newbie it was hard to get the brushes to work

By Nereida Bertran on 9/13/2020

I took this course to refresh my experience with pixel art and gain some new knowledge and it just did that perfectly.
The lessons are short (10 min more a less) and the instructor goes straight to the point. I really liked how simple he explained the topics without adding too much filler or roundabouts.

Yes, as a person trying to learn game design, making art is a quintessential part of it. As I am bad at making art in general, this really helps me understand the way to shade, animate, and draw in the pixel art form.

By Nicolas Cubero on 8/26/2020

this course is helping me a lot more than I thought it would. I thought pixel drawing was hard but this course is mostly easy and it's helping me a lot.

It was great

By Levi Lindsey on 8/17/2020

This course covers a lot of ground! It's easy to follow along, while also going into a lot of depth. I feel confident that I can create interesting pixel art from what this course has taught me. Also, the content is organized well, and it's easy to understand how the different parts fit together.

While some of the audio quality is suspect, and it started a bit adhoc, this has been a very thorough course that has taught me a lot. Fully followable with Aseprite, too - the teacher is using photoshop but its not photoshop specific in any way.

By Ira Miller on 8/2/2020

I'm only half way in and it's already better than the previous course I tried.

By Maddi Barden on 7/9/2020

I have never used Photoshop before and to start with it was overwhelming, however it's being explained so well that I quickly pick up enough tools to follow along comfortably

By Henry Bullingham on 6/23/2020

The course has a lot of great content, including rpg tiles & characters and HUD elements. One downside is it's more of a follow-along course than a learn & apply course.
