So far I ha e only done the introduction. I could read on the screen 10 times faster than he read it aloud so it was a bit annoying the SLOW talking...

An excellent course. I was extremely satisfied with the drawings I was able to create. This instructor does not hold your hand entirely through a drawing.. he shows you the basics, gives you all the tools you need and then you need to be able to apply them to the drawing as you progress. It does force you to really look at the drawing as you try to copy it. (and improve your observation skills) He does; however, lead you through enough of the technique, step-by-step so you can apply it. You will enjoy it if you like the look of graphite and white charcoal drawings!

This course teaches amazing techniques and quite frequently draws you to things that can easily be over-looked, but can make a huge difference on the drawing. A great course indeed!

I enjoyed this course and improved along the way. Suggest that the actual photograph be adjacent to the working drawing as an easier method for the learner as observed in a previous course.
Another suggestion would be to emphasize exactly what pencils are needed as one tends to buy 15 to 20 and only use 2 or 3 throughout the course.

Like the first module, the instructor appears to start with us knowing the same amount as he does. Talk about the basics of drawing strokes, and it would probably be better to give proportional connections before hand not bits and pieces along the way. I would have had the same results if I had just drawn it without the instructor, as he didn't provide details and I'm not an expert like he is.
