Well I bought this course so i can learn what actually is QT and what i can actually use it for so it's given me just that, even tough i have a good c++ understanding, i am still learning something i didn't know about c++ aswell

so far so good, this feedback question was asked way too quickly, so not the courses fault, and something udemy should address, why am i being asked this now, rather than near the end of the course, as im on video what 5 of 50 or something, so im not even into the actual meat and potatoes of the course yet, im still listening to the pre-course reqs, but so far so good, informative and real talk on the actual course tho, so credit to the course coach at this point im engaged yes, stoked interest yes, if this answers anyones query of is this course any good, then i would say Yes , get it, the dude knows his stuff from what i can tell so far.

This course was great for learning the fundamentals of Qt. The instructor, Bryan, is passionate about Qt and his enthusiasm shines through with his teaching style. His humour makes learning fun. I'm an experienced programmer so I worked through the course fairly quickly and skimmed through the general C++ content I was already familiar with, but learnt a lot of new things with the Qt specific content. I'm glad that the course contains assignments for students at the end of each section which gives us the opportunity to practise what we learnt in that section. The instructor has also included a corresponding solution video for each assignment in case we get stuck.

Good beginning overall with unique techniques to conquer difficult topics. The part about Signal and Slots is a bit short and get suddenly a step curve but this its about qt I could have more explicit. Because understand these concepts is key in a qt course

Yes, its an amazing course. I have been learning Qt development from Bryan's videos since 2016. His style of casual presentation and making difficult concepts explained in a nutshell is amazing. Thank you, Bryan for posting quality content.

There are quite a few head scratching moments. However, by watching the videos over, a couple of times, they make sense. Understanding the concepts is relatively simple but remembering what to type to make it work is something else. Most enjoyable though.

It would enhance the learning experience for students if each lesson began with a table outlining the key topics to be covered. This table would provide a clear overview of what students can expect to learn, facilitating their understanding and guiding them through the lesson.

Bryan hands down all the basics of C++ and a hint of Qt basic (QObject and other QContainer such as QList) in this course. He also describes the common pitfalls or common errors that would happen. If you already know C++ just skip this lesson. If you are from other languages such as Python, and you think you can learn about Class, Template, and Error handling from other sources, then you also can skip this lesson. Otherwise, this is a very friendly C++ introduction.

I knew some C++ programming, when starting the course. Although the course began quite simple, it speeded up and even the redundancy was very helpful for me. Especially the Qt specifics were really good.
