The Qt tidbits spread throughout the course make it worthwhile and serve as an important foundation for the rest of Qt. I believe it would make for a better course if the focus was on Qt itself and covering the IDE in detail rather than spending the time it does on teaching basic C++ concepts. Sections for getting setup and running on the three major OSs (Mac, llnux, Windows) would be useful additions as well.

Very little Qt-specific, more of a general, very basic C++ introduction.

This course was a good match for me. I think it would be a bit beyond someone with absolutely zero programming experience, but if you already know a bit of C++ it's appropriate.

The course is not only about Qt, it spends a good amount of time going through the basics of c++ and a bit of its ecosystem. If you are experienced in c++ but have no Qt, you might want to skip some chapters. Nevertheless the instructor is very good, his effort in structuring the course in noticeable, and the course, provided it fits your expectations, is certainly a good purchase.

I am a second-year college students currently enrolled in a C++ class. This past summer, July 2020, I took the Qt Core for Beginners with C++ course on your site. It was this course that has allowed me to have 880/100 (Grade A in my college course. I recommend this course to beginners. I am an electrical engineering student at Texas Southern University. Thank you, Sean (son of A. Jones).

Very useful course for a returning C/C++ programmer (after a long absence)
