This course is great for getting a basic understanding of Node.js. The explanations are clear and easy to follow. It would’ve been even better if it covered a few more topics, considering how well the content was presented.

I figured it would be basic, but this is basic! But even then, there were a few new things to learn simply because it was so basic. I do like the speed the instructor goes at. I rather pause the video to catch up, than skip forward because I'm bored, and then miss stuff. I wonder if the course could have covered the difference between "require" and "import".

thanks for sharing information, the course is very useful, it allows me to know the processing of files and also the processor with Node js so how I can create my own server

I had mistakenly given it a 3.5 star rating, but meant to give a 4.5 (sorry about that, Laurence!) The course has a hands-on approach that covers basic required theory, so knowing JS in advance is preferable. It covers from working with variables and arrays, to starting a HTTP service and reading/writing files, plus working with node modules, all in a very compact yet easy to understand lecture. If you're delving into Node.js and know a bit of Javascript, this is the course to get you started into building working, practical Node.js code.
