Section 2 could have been bit more slow and more elaborate for beginners. As a layman, I found it difficult to grasp coding concept. I did not understand the codes at lecture No 9, 11 and 12.

So far, excellent. The presenter breaks down concepts in a manner that is easy to follow and slowly builds on concepts that have already been discussed rather than introducing many concepts in a short space of time, thereby overwhelming the learner.

I came into this class expecting to hate R. I had used it before, but was absolutely thrown into the deep end and expected to perform. This instructor broke things down slowly and clearly in this course. I now understand what I was doing before in a whole new light. Some of the functions have changed just slightly from what they were before, but it is easy to compensate with a quick Google search. Sometimes R even tells you what's wrong. Overall, if you are new to R and/or coding, I can't recommend this course enough. If you have some experience, you might find it a little on the slow side, but still wildly helpful and informative.

I have only dipped my toes in coding (Python) before I started coding. But thanks to these lectures it all makes sense to me now. Sure it might be a slower pace for me than others, but I really prefer learning it thoroughly and correctly from the start instead of guessing in the dark. This course has really helped me do just that.

I can tell those courses are very useful. however, most of programing software has been updated. I actually hard to find how to get package, such as ggplot2 that my version of my software did not use anymore. that is whay, 4.5 stars

This is one of the amazing courses I have ever come across in Udemy. The teacher just makes everything simple especially for someone like me who has no background whatsoever of programming. I would recommend this course to anyone interested to learn R irrespective of ones background in programming.

I have been working with Python before, and want to feel how R programming can suit a data science course. This course has eased my purpose. I have completed the course with a great joy of satisfaction. May God bless the instructor.

The course is super informative from start to finish, and the instructor breaks everything down so it's very easy to understand. However, if you have any programming, statistics, or linear algebra experience, this course might be a bit slow, but nevertheless still helpful.

The method for Altering Font Size and Window Color has changed so that you have to go to "Tools" in the top bar and then "Global Options...". Also, .actors are no longer automatically recognized in data sets, so they have to be manually set to factors. Despite these outdated portions, this course is extremely useful for teaching you the main functions in R and gives you the tools to learn other functions on your own.

This course was really helpful with getting familiar with R! I think it covers a lot of the important functionality. Its not heavy on stats, which can be seen as a plus or a minus depending on the person. If you are an undergrad planning to take econometrics, I strongly advice taking this course beforehand as the materials taught in this course will be useful in the exercises.
