Course Description
Are you preparing for a System Design Interview?
Looking to practice your knowledge of modern Software Architecture?
You came to the right place!
This course is the #1 online resource for practicing and improving your knowledge of system design and software architecture.
As more companies run large-scale systems to meet global demand, engineers with expert knowledge of Microservice, Big Data, and Event-Driven Architecture are in very high demand.
However, just knowing the theory of Software Architecture doesn't mean you can apply it in the real world or during a challenging System Design interview.
System Design interviews are notoriously hard at the top tech companies, so it's imperative to practice for them ahead of time.
That is why I designed this course to help you:
Practice and revise your Software Architecture knowledge
Apply your skills to System Design skills to real-life interview questions
Gain confidence to tackle hard and realistic design problems on your own
What You Get
This self-assessment course includes 100+ multiple-choice questions and is organized into self-contained tests.
Each test is timed, automatically checked, and scored.
Once you complete the test, you will see the correct answer to each question and a helpful explanation that will help you learn.
The questions cover many topics, such as:
Functional Requirements and Architecture Diagrams
Non-Function Requirements and Quality Attributes
System Constraints
API Design for modern large-scale systems
System Design principles and building blocks
Database Design, Scalability and Performance
Microservices and Event-Driven Architecture
Software Architecture Design Patterns
Big Data Processing and Architecture
This course is for you if:

This test series has potential to be the best test series, if the number of questions are increase from around 100 to 500. At least have 50 or more question in every practice test even if they repeat same concept as most of us learn by practicing the same concept multiple times. In the past I have taken few AWS CCP test series on Udemy so I will suggest to model this test paper series like AWS CCP test paper series i.e. cover all the 6 types in each test paper with some weightage rather than allocating one test paper for each type.

had a better understanding thru the explanation of answers which led me for another set of research to understand better

questions are fine for Level 1 or 2 practice. For advanced levels more complex scenarios required.

It was difficult, but I made it thanks to all the other architecture-related courses of Michael. I'm still no pro, but at least now I understand all the important concepts. Thanks Michael!

Great questions. However for some of the questions are not covered in Architecture Courses from the same tutor.

The questions helped us apply the learning and understand the concepts better. Good combination of conceptual and practical questions

Excellent material for identifying topics that need to be repeated. But I would like to see more topics to test.

Taking the tests provides an immediate feedback on the areas you are less (or not...) comfortable with.

Every questions are very good. But explanations for few questions are not enough for understanding. And some of the questions have the same content except last sentence of a description, so it's too easy to infer the answer. I really hope you create more lectures because you are the best instructor I've ever seen.
