I found this course really useful and it has given me more confidence in using my Sony camera. The tutorial on the dreaded Sony menus was especially useful. If you do not have the camera used in the demo ((I have the A7RV) it is worthwhile stopping the tutorial and finding the area on your camera as the sections are the same but may be in a different place. I thought it was disappointing that the intro to 'Photography and Friends' did not feature a Sony camera as this is a Sony camera course. Maybe this could be done again and kept towards the end so students can see the some of the tutorials in practice. Otherwise, a good course and well worth the time to invest in. Thanks.

I did most of the other course, but I was always getting overwhelmed, you know, when you kind of know what to do, but there are so many buttons? Just like the other one, really good course!

By Sue Pearson on 3/18/2023

clear explanations.... sufficient information to help me , as a beginner to feel more comfortable with the camera settings.... to know what aspects of the menu are useful and how to set and what to ignore.

By Alok Bahl on 12/10/2022

WIth no idea, i think it is useful. However, I think it would be a good idea to have access to solve individual questions (address specific questions) for a certain amount of time post the course completion. The course is being conducted on a Sony model while the audience will be having different Sony models.

I have had my sony camera for a little while now so some of the information was redundant but with that being said it did help a lot to gel that information. This course will make a great reference material (no way i can remember it all). Anyone just getting into sony cameras should definitely get this course

As I haven't had the opportunity to use my Sony cameras because of the current COVID situation,, it was good to have a refresher. However, more than that, the course taught me far more than I already know about the camera and using it. Greta course, really enjoyable.

Enjoyed the content and information provided. A quick and dirty run through to familiarize yourself with your Sony camera. Now onto some content on how to utilize each settings for the various types of photography shoots! Thank you!

Very Informative and a great place to start learning about your Camera. I am brand new to DSLR or mirrorless cameras and this really helped a lot. I did have to YouTube some areas to get more info but overall very helpful.

By Carlsson Chabungbam on 4/30/2020

I wasn't quite satisfied with the explanations on Camera Settings Menu 2. A detailed demonstration (like taking photo/video clips, comparing and explaining) could have made it better. Also, e-front curtain shutter and its differences with mechanical shutter and electronic shutter wasn't properly explained.

By Arthur A Crabtree on 4/15/2020

The course is excellent. Sam is the true professional. Not necessarily an easy course to watch because of so much detail. Only complaint I have is lecture 20; menu number one is incomplete. I don’t know if there was a problem with the download or what. I will certainly recommend this course.
