Gentle but not trivial introduction to SQL. A great way to learn how to use SQL without having to set up a full RDBMS and avoid dealing with all the nuances of logging in, user permissions etc of that RDBMS. Also, at the end student will learn how to circumvent somewhat cumbersome LOOKUP functions of Excel and instead solve problems by issuing elegant SQL commands while still working in Excel.

The course is simple, well-structured, and very engaging. The trainer explains each topic section by section, making it easy to understand and apply the concepts. The beginner-friendly approach, along with the practical exercises, makes the learning experience enjoyable and highly effective.

If you're looking for a course to get you started using SQL right away... this is the right course for you. Of course, it only covers the basic concepts. If you'd like to delve deeper into the SQL language with more advanced and structured courses, you can do so later. But it's truly impressive how this course immediately launch you into the world of SQL. Great job KP!

Very easy to follow. The instructors step-by-step instructions and demonstration of the concepts made the topic easier to understand. The last section on joins went a little quick and maybe needed a bit more conceptual explanation before diving into the coding. Really great course!

I wanted to get into crime analysis and knew learning SQL was an important step. I am enjoying the instructor in his “Excel from Beginner to Advanced” course, so I took this one. I like how I’m learning basic SQL within the context of Excel.

I had taken many SQL Courses on Data Camp and they were generally well presented. This course, however, brings things to a whole new level by combining SQL with Excel. So far, this course is very well presented and enjoyable.

It's a great course indeed, it saves a lot of time in Excel while working with a large dataset, now I type few lines of SQL code in Excel and easily get the desired output. Thus, I can avoid vlookup or xlookup or PowerQuery to get my result. Recommending every Excel user...
