Phil Ebiner
I’m Phil Ebiner, an educator, photographer, filmmaker, and founder of Video School and Photography & Friends. Through my online courses and creative community, I’ve helped millions of students around the world learn practical skills in photography, video production, design, and more. My goal is to make creative skills feel accessible, useful, and encouraging, whether you’re picking up a camera for the first time or looking to take your work to the next level.
My teaching style is clear, supportive, and hands-on. I break complex topics into simple steps, explain the “why” behind each technique, and share real-world examples you can immediately apply. As a photographer and filmmaker, I believe great creative work is not just about gear or settings, but about storytelling, intention, observation, and connection. My goal is to help you feel confident, inspired, and capable of bringing your own creative ideas to life.

These guys are very well spoken, knowledgeable, and engaging. This course is definitely designed for all walks of photographer. Being a beginner who loves the art and idea of photography wanting to take it to the next level they provide you with a roadmap to do so. And they cover multiple areas of photography businesses so you get a feel for a few different scenarios. I have also taken the photography course they offer so this was a really good combo. However you will not be able to simply take this course and be up and making money instantly. It will clearly take some work, motivation, creativity and time. But like I said they definitely get you going in the right direction. Thanks guys!!

It started with good information and material, seems to be focus in people who will start with intention and so far the instructors are very eloquent to the topic. The information is very compelling and full of details... very engaging, very happy to have taken this class... Very lucky to find this class... This is a most see to everyone starting their dream.

From start to end, it was a wealth of knowledge that helped assist me with the knowledge I already had. I've started my Graphic Design/Photography business a year ago and wanted to better understand how to sell myself more to a community that I was fairly new in. Got to put in the leg work since I've already done quite a bit of freelance work already. But this course has provided a stronger support for me to push my business forward and to succeed. Extremely happy with the course and hope they have more classes on the realm of photography as a whole because both instructors did a fantastic job explaining everything.

I ran a photography "business" years ago, but really it was just doing shoots for friends and family for the most part. I decided I wanted to start a legitimate business and didn't have any idea where to start. This course went above my expectations in giving step by step directions on how to get going! Will and Phil were fun to watch, and I loved that each session was short enough to not feel like it drug on, but long enough to get the info we needed! Thank you guys for giving me the confidence to know that I can do this!

This course has been fantastic so far, I'm learning things I never thought of. I would recommend people starting out in their photography business to take this course, well worth it. Update: Now that I've finished this course, there's nothing is change or add and I can't recommend it enough to anyone who's looking to start their photography business and are a little confused on where to start putting things together. 5 stars all the way for this course. Thank you!

I really enjoy these guys. I've watched them for hours (obviously, lol). I love the laid back style and ease of the lessons. The content and delivery keeps me engaged. I can't write fast enough, and my note book is full. Although my area of photography isn't weddings (which I think this video has a heavy emphases on regarding their examples) I walked away with sooo much other usable info. Another great video guys!

after completing the photography masterclass course I've also completed this course successfully & I've to say that I'm confident than before. I know I can build a successful career in photography business. I also know that it's going to take a lot of time & hard work but I'll defiantly do this.Special thanks to all the mentors of videoschoolonline for all of their amazing content.

This was insightful and encouraging material covered in this series. I took a major hit when an event shoot went bad because of the terrible orange lighting in the venue. I was tricked by the rehearsal and as a consequence the white flash lighting and the deep orange ambient light played havoc with my carefully prepared settings. I lost a flash unit and remote trigger and only about 70% of the shots were usable after repeated cross-post processing to correct the white balance through using three software packages. I was rattled and this course helped me to affirm that everyone fails at some point and even though you want to walk away from it all, you must still stick to it and add this to that long list of experience and lessons learned. Thank you, Andrew Ross, ACRoss Photographic

Love the course! It is easy to google or YouTube info you need , but so many people keep certain info for themselves. These two really lay it all out and started the course to actually help and not just in it for the monetary gains. Definitely worth it and recommend to anyone that wants to start their business or make their hobby a business. Thank you guys so so much for the course. Definitely helping me a lot and giving me more direction.
