Most courses on street photography have similar approach: photo story, lighting, documentary, and engaging communication with people. Anthony's teaching does not digress from common teaching on the subject. What he offers you is how to make a good street photographs based on his experience and his approach. His advice on "May I take your photograph while we are talking" is his best advice that you can keep taking photographs of your subject. You should not stop taking photo after the first shot. Other good advice that I would love to practice is to set up your camera before approaching your subject, taking a fist shot before asking their permission, taking subsequent shots while talking with your subject. And street photography, as he explains, is not about taking the best shot but one that tell a story about the street at that moment. Great work, Anthony. I have really enjoyed your course and hopefully I can practice soon what I learned from you. Thank you.

Anthony, you are an inspiration! After watching your documentary and 'giving up photography', then finding the strength and the will to continue with the one passion that you love to do creatively, is the best of inspiration and motivation. Thank you for taking the time and for all the effort it took you to create this course. Thank you to Phil for your input in Lightroom and for creating and sharing the Presets. Thank you to Sam and Will for their behind the scenes production in helping to make this course possible for Anthony to go out onto the streets to pursue his creative passion in photography. Thank you all!

I found this course to be really worthwhile. I enjoyed doing it. Anthony gives out a lot of valid information and countless tips on how to take very good and interesting Street photos. He also supplies useful information about the psychological aspect of the street photographer himself, as well as that of the subject. Moreover he speaks with enthusiasm and love of the subject, so following this course was a pleasure, and will certainly help all students to make a marked improvement in this field of photography.

I learned a lot from this course. As a total newbie that has basically "winged it" with taking photos my entire life, I found this to be enlightening and not too difficult. There is a lot to learn and the instructors did a fantastic job in breaking it down and making it comprehensible. Anthony Carbajal's photos are amazing and I was touched by his warmth and depth of feeling, both in his approach to the subjects and in his teaching style. Kudos for a great teaching collaboration!

I loved this course. I've lots of courses I purchased but never completed. This course is so interesting, I've managed to complete it all within a couple of days. I learnt heaps about photography thanks to the "Photography Fundamentals" course that is included, and I loved Anthony's candid honesty and frankness in how he does things. Makes you look at the World differently. Thank you Anthony and Phil for bringing this course to us! Love your work! I recommend this course to everyone with a camera or even a smartphone.

Anthony’s unique perspective provides more information than all the technically gobble-gook ever could. The fact that all of his pix are facing up (a photography “no-no) not only brings a unique visual quality to his work I would like to emulate but also gives me ideas about what & how to shoot. When was the last time you sat on the floor and looked around at your home or environment? That’s how children and animals see the world. Everything is big and “up there.” It’s a view that Anthony is forced to adopt but one I can choose to adopt, and possibly get some incredible moments, emotions, stories. There’s more to photography than settings, apertures, shutter speeds etc. It’s about telling a story that no one else has ever told. Technically, I am learning about composition, settings, and preparations. More importantly, I am learning the truth of the line from the movie “The Shawshank Redemption.” Get busy living or get busy dying.
