TABLEAU 2018: Hands-On Tableau Training For Data Science! (Udemy.com)

The course is great for those new to Tableau. My background is as a data analyst. Based on the course examples; my role has been the person who would deliver data sets to users. While most of the time I had a rough idea what those users would do with the data. This course has allowed me to see the types of things users can do with the data I provided them. What a powerful and intuitive tool. Kirill and his team did a great job introducing the tool by working through real world examples of data analysis. The only thing I would have liked to have seen is an example of connecting to an database like SQLServer, Oracle, etc. to see how that connection worked. Anyway; I am looking forward to the "Advanced Course".

It is the first time a take a course related to Data Visualization but so far, I should mention the learning experience I've been having with it is totally valuable. Classes are carefully designed covered in great detail and it is very easy to follow along so you gain experience while practicing. I will definitely take more courses related to this topic in the future with this instructor.

I am very happy to have opted this course. I find the course is designed very well in terms of explanation, pace and content. I am quite confident now though I started with very little knowledge. I would still appreciate a separate small video on formatting only to have everything in one video to refer to by students. Overall worth it!

Everything is fine except things like screen is not clear in some cases, I also faced issues with changing font sizes, coz font size can be changed in more than one way, so selecting one way allows me change size, while other is restricting. There is nothing to do with the tutor but I just want more tips to not get stuck in such cases. Section 9 is also very tough to get a hang of it may be due to the pace of the tutor.. I hope this is an advanced topic and had fast forwarded this section very fast.

This course is absolutely brilliant. It covers all the basics of Tableau, and if you sincerely go through all the videos, it gives you a great insight into how analytics actually works. I would like to mention that Kirill Eremenko (the instructor) is truly a rockstar. His teaching, his knowledge about Tableau, and his enthusiasm throughout made this course easy and smooth. This course is one of my initial steps towards Data Science, and if I ever happen to make a career in it, Kirill is going to have a credit in it. Long story short, you want to learn Tableau, you take up this course to master it.

Before going through this course, I took the PowerBI course which I rated 5 stars. The reason is clarity in voice and pace which made a huge difference. Further, either PowerBI has very good support for data modeling and cleaning data or not much focus was made in this course. But otherwise, I got fairly good of Tableau and anybody wanting to learn Tableau can go for this course. Another reason for the low rating is that section 9 was completed at a very fast pace. I have to pause and rewind video several times. I would suggest trainers view the PowerBI course by Manuel Lorenz.

I liked the course, I did have to adjust the speed of the video as watching the video and doing the practice exercises in tantum could be challenging. I would also recommend that some of the modules be checked for consistency with the Tableau platform, i.e., the module on clustering using a population variable was illustrated by drag and drop, however in practice, I could not get Tableau 2019 to perform this function, thus I just watched the video.

Course is good for basic level Tableau knowledge. Kirill has tried his best to show all the features and method of creating dashboard though some exercises. Just I expected proper explanation of how to plan to create dashboard as a final output. Like first we plan in our mind these things will be shown and plan and organize our thoughts before implementing it on tableau.

I have been self-taught in Excel & Tableau using many sources. This course clarifies a lot of the basics of things that I have an incomplete understanding of. While this level course cannot possibly cover all of the possible intricacies of Tableau, it does attempt to point out some features that could frustrate a beginner and slow the learning curve. On the whole, it has been a satisfying experience so far and I look forward to the Advanced Course

The contents were well explained and it was worked with great examples throughout the course. The only thing that bothered me was the quick pace. I had t to stop some tutorials and go back, so that I could really follow up the instructor. Anyhow, it was a great experience for me, and I highly reccomend this course to everybody who are interested in learning Tableau

the explanation of the instructor is fine!...but the screen keeps getting blurred many times during the lecture....it gets really difficult in the midst of a lecture....please work on it...

Great course to get your hands dirty with Tableau! A cool sneak peek into machine learning using clustering and trend lines in one of the last tutorials which I thoroughly enjoyed!
