Great attention to detail. The lessons were very well paced, and the explanations were clear. I took this course to improve my Tableau capabilities, and I can confidently say that I have increased my knowledge and comfort with advanced concepts like level of detail expressions, parameter, and set actions. Would highly recommend.

A 5 star intro course. While marketed as an advanced course, it primarily functions as a thorough introduction to advanced functionalities. Nonetheless, it falls short in exploring truly advanced concepts in depth. Furthermore, the reliance on tailored data for examples tends to shift its focus more towards introductory-level content.

One of the most interesting and challenging courses on Tableau, and provides detailed information and examples on advanced topics (Level of Detail calculations, Dynamic Design, Parameter and Set Actions to name the few). Dustin Cabral, the instructor for this course, has profound knowledge on Tableau and Business analytics and is always willing to respond to questions related to the course in a prompt and professional manner.

The course was very in-depth, and as expected it stuck true to its name of "Advanced Calculations." The main downsides I had was that the instructor seemed to speak and move very quickly, to the point where I found myself constantly having to rewind or even slow down the playback video rate. Secondly, I would have appreciated more examples of the calculations and taking them slowly, instead of a race to use them inside of worksheets and also our course dashboard

Sorry, It was just like watching chandrayan launch. There should be some explanation of data flows and a better explanation of the linkage of the field was missing totally.

Just Awesome Course . Wonderful definition on beginning of each section. Quick replies and clear answers. Out of my personal interest and to have a strong basic , Planning now to take his beginners course and again come back here to create the awesome Final Interactive Dashboard. An Interactive Dashboard Project that teaches you so many things in 1 course. Looking for more courses from Dustin/Maven in Tableau. 1 sad thing is , it Seems you guys have many courses for PowerBI but just 2 for Tableau.

Exactly what I was looking for, one of best Tableau advance course out there, I was going through various content and courses to acquire some advanced Tableau concepts, and I found all those techniques here in this course, all those who are looking for advanced Tableau concepts, don't think twice this is the right course for you, Thanks Dustin for a wonderful course.

It's an excellent course for the price point. Dustin explains everything very well, in a down-to-earth manner. There are many aspects of this course that could find real-world application. I have already applied the graphical overlays, Parameter Actions | Year-Over-Year & swapped out my existing drop down parameter for sheet swapping, with buttons driven by parameter actions. *Additional comment: My only improvement suggestion would be further videos focused on automation. An example of this, could be replacing time-bound flags with created parameters in calculated fields.

Thoroughly enjoying the course. It is very detailed to the necessary and a complete course. Dustin replies back immediately with all the clarifications if any. Its very difficult to find such a complete course as all the details are presented in both basic and in this advanced course. I would recommend both courses by Dustin for any one who wants to begin their Tableau journey. Aweseome Course and excellent dedication by Dustin and Maven Team Thank you Dustin

Want to really advance with Tableau? I think this is your course. I’m a full-time Tableau developer. Some of the material I have not seen in any other course, not even Tableau’s e-leaning. And the material is practical. Need an example? Some dashboards are like software interfaces. Dustin’s “commentary overlay” is pure genius. And, last but not least, his 94-page PDF might look better than Tableau’s official pages.
