Tableau Desktop for Data Analysis & Data Visualization (Udemy.com)

Someone who is a Newbie in Tableau cannot not catch up with these lessons, not enough explanations in most of the lessons, what to do, why and how, the teaching did be so fed up and extremely confusing to a newbie, not ideal for starters but for experts who already used to it or familiar with the basics. a lot of confusion with no clear guidelines on how to do most things especially with the course working sheets.

yes you have the knowledge but you should have been more open to pass on these knowledge at least for full basic level course with more practical use of them. Otherwise it is just only okay.

There should more clear examples rather than long continues theory. Some topic should be elaborated more. This course is good for the students who already have some knowledge about Power Bi or other visualization tool not for beginners.

Dustin has done an excellent job of covering the key topics that are required for anyone just starting with Tableau. The quizzes and assignments at the end of each section were very helpful in reinforcing the concepts covered. I would definitely recommend this course for anyone who wants to get a quick head start to their Tableau journey. This course does not require any prior hands-on experience in Tableau Desktop as it starts from the basic concepts.

This is my 2 nd tableau course on udemy back to back as beginner and honestly first one from different lecturer just felt that it skimmed over bcoz for beginners who are already familiar with intermediate or advanced analytics it is much more about software interface and its logic rather than analytics logic, which this course perfectly delivered. I wanted a tableau tutorial rather than analytcis course and this is exactly what i needed. Will follow up with advanced course of his too.

I was very happy to learn about Tableau from Maven Analytics.I had just began to learn Tableau and in Udemy Platform,I wanted to find the best course,I knew Maven Analytics from my previous experience.So I opted for Tableau from Maven Analytics. the tutor was a very experienced tableau expert.I look foreward to do more courses created by Dustin Cabrel. I chose this course because I took SQL courses from Maven Analytics and they were awesome. This course had the same merits as those that it has good balance of coverage and length, and excellent explanations. It is so well organized that you probably won't have struggle to finish this course. However I found that it would have been better if there were more exercises. Having finished the course now, I feel I just followed instructions and didn't have enough opportunities to be creative. I hope the advanced course will supplement this. Anyway, overall it was a very good course and I can recommend it to those who need introduction to Tableau.

I really like how detailed and understandable Dustin is when he teaches the basics of Tableau. The way he demonstrates uses of features is amazing--straight to the point, no extra fusses. I've taken other Tableau courses before, but this is the best by far. I highly recommend it. It was perfectly structured, with the reference material available to download so we didn't have to worry about taking notes, no irrelevant detours in the videos, quizzes, homework and the projects provided more than enough opportunities to practice and reinforce the material learned and I now have two dashboards to use as the start of my Tableau Public portfolio to show hiring managers. I work with Tableau in my day job and I was asked to construct a dashboard, with having never used Tableau before. Whilst, I learnt a lot from experienced colleagues, Dustin's course help to fill in all those gaps and all the topics were explained in a such intuitive way. I have already purchased the Advanced Tableau course and I hope there is a Tableau Prep course in the works for manipulating the data before being pulled into Tableau Desktop.
