Course Description
Welcome to the best online resource to learn how to leverage the power of Terraform to create infrastructure using scripts of code!
This course will guide you into discovering how to automate Google cloud infrastructure by simply creating files using HashiCorp's Terraform, which will then create a set of instructions to automatically launch your Google Cloud infrastructure services.
Cloud Architects often need to spend time setting up and configuring infrastructure services for teams, including repetitive tasks for duplicate infrastructure designs. Terraform allows for cloud users to save time by leveraging infrastructure as code, allowing developers to create scripts that automatically create cloud resources and infrastructure.
This course is taught by the CloudMeta LLC, a company that expertise in cloud technology including AWS, GCP, DevOps and Terraform. In this course you will learn how to use Terraform in real world situations, with plenty of examples drawn from their experiences. This course will teach you everything you need to understand the motivations behind using Terraform and how its used in the real world.
In this course, you'll learn about:
Installing and Setting up Terraform
Terraform State
Terraform Variables
Terraform Outputs
Terraform Provisioners
Terraform State Commands and Storage
Built-in Functions
Type Constraints
Dynamic Blocks
Debug Logging
Terraform Best Practices
and much more!

The course is great and you learn a lot from the lectures. It's fun watching the infrastructure get built with just a few commands. However, some videos are outdated so you need to do some tweaks to get things working properly. Also, the audio of some lectures is too low.

The overall content, examples and tips are good, but there's too much cut and paste on the production of the videos. Many of the lectures should be re-recorded so that the flow of the message could be better.

So I have to break this down a bit: - the GCP part is really good (but not what I needed) - the TF presentation part is really not so great. It is tiresome, the volume is way to low but at least the content is OK - the "labs" part is great. The author shares his ideas on how to restructure / optimize the TF code and make it reusable So overall it is good but could be better.

Excellent tips in the end.

Excellent beginner's course on Terraform. Although there are some things that they can improve on the course: - The Terraform installation guide is provided only for Macs whereas I use Windows - The unusual way the instructor pronounces the word "Region" starting from Section 4, i.e. it sounded like the word "reason" instead.

Better than other Terraform courses

some of the concepts were not explained too clearly especially at the end. There were some problems with terraform code which is nice becasue looking at how problems are solved is valuable but in some cases when an error pops up the video is just edited and the problem is rectified off screen. Overall a good course

This is such an amazing course. I particularly appreciate the way you handled the "for_each" meta argument. Thanks for this course. I hope and wish you will do same for Terraform functions. However, the volume of most of the videos are very low. It is a struggle hearing even at 100%
