Travel Photography: Take Beautiful Photos on Your Adventures (Udemy.com)

This is a great overview course for people interested in travel photography. I have some experience in this area, but even at my level, I learned some new tips and gained a great refresher on techniques I've used. Sam shows examples of a lot of photos from his travel experiences, which gave me more ideas for my next photo shoot on the road.

I have only traveled to Singapore and Phuket once. It was wonderful, will go back anytime and take more photos than the first time :-) I do agree that having respect for the local people is really important. They are friendly and willing to help you the moment you greet them and show that you respect their culture.

This course gave me some great tips that I'll use the next time I travel. This includes doing better planning/research before going, making sure I have everything ready, and then doing better follow through to get enjoyment out of my pictures instead of just having them site on my computer.

It has been a Good Match for me so far. This course differently made me understand where exactly I was going wrong while taking a photo outdoors. it has actually built in the excitement the next time I'll be traveling. This definitely helps be better at shooting a particular shot. This course helps me understand Cameras and Equipment to improve my hobby.

Don't expect to find a "how-to-course" here, guess it's more like talking with a friend who shares with you his experience on travel photography and gives you some good advices to get started and find your own way in the field. Give 3.5 stars just because I expected something more technical, however (as a beginner) I found it helpful and for the price you can get courses here on Udemy I can't complain for sure.

I'm def a fan of this topic, so I was excited to hear what new perspective was coming my way. I gave a low review for one specific reason only... I was completely distracted by the mount of times he said "you know" during the filming. As much as I was interested in the content I just kept getting side tracked because I was mostly focusing on the words. He seems very knowledgable on the topic, but for me I couldn't get past this one part.

Considering I have been wanting to engage in travel photography for a long time and have somewhat already started within my own country, this course certainly helps in preparing me for when I take my passion international. Additionally, the instructor makes good and informative points that I am confident will help me make my own experience with this type of photography a good one.

Title of course was somewhat misleading:...."Take Beautiful Photos on Your Adventures". Only a third of the course was on taking pictures. Pros: Instructors are knowledgeable and are good at instructing. Most of the information was useful. Cons: Most of photochats were useless; the section on sharing your travel photos was a waste of time. Being enrolled in the instructors masterclass in photography which is one of the best courses take, I was disappointed with this course.

Its good for someone staring with Travel & Street photography. The tips & skills are nothing that you can't find somewhere else, but the way its explained with personal experience is great. I am always confused with the gears and it has some good information related to that. I learned a lot of tips from the Portrait and Street Photography section. Very useful for my upcoming trips. Also, the photo chats are very informative. Thanks Phil & Sam for coming up with this course!
