Vlatko Chankulovski
I'm an Unreal Engine Senior Gameplay and UI/UX Programmer.
After many years of experience as a game developer, I have successfully created 10+ Full games and 100+ game prototypes and counting.
After completing my Courses, you will be able to create a fully functional, optimized and production-ready games!
Here's why:
Many important things for game development are not being taught on Youtube and other learning platforms, and some of those things are Game Optimization and Best Practices.
That's why I've decided to address these problems by creating Unreal Engine courses and Tutorials that will teach you how to create games with proper Blueprints and best practices.
I want to teach you how to understand the Blueprints - not just to COPY/PASTE from the videos and not knowing what is going on. You will actually learn HOW and WHY the Blueprints are working that way, so after finishing my Courses you will be able to create games without watching Tutorials non-stop.
I want to make YOUR Game Development journey as smooth as possible and to pass on my skills and knowledge to YOU who want to create high quality games, and to people who are struggling to find proper courses on YouTube or elsewhere, and anyone who wants to improve their programming skills with Unreal Engine Blueprints.

His flow and steps and explanation work VERY well. Very easy to take in the info and has better English than a lot of English tutors. The best bit is you can tell this guy is a developer and is chill, not some excitable coach.

As a skilled UE developer that wasn't very familiar with widget blueprints I wanted to use this to learn how to setup graphics settings and things like that for my game as well as pickup any other good habits are best for game menus specifically. I'd say overall I learned most of what I needed to from it but I also expected more. It's very beginner friendly for those that are completely unfamiliar with Unreal development in general but it would have been nice to go into more complicated setups with settings menus and cover common settings and options like UI scaling for example. If this was youtube then 5 stars for sure but since it's a paid course I believe there should be at least a little more detailed and advanced instruction.

Super Kurs. Sehr verständlich und detailliert erklärt. Man merkt, dass der Dozent Ahnung von dem hat was er erklärt. Hab mir alle weiteren Kurse von diesem Dozenten gekauft. 100% empfehlenswert!

A very good course for beginners to Unreal Engine, it was a bit too oversimplified in my opinion for anyone but absolute beginners, but I just skipped whenever the instructor went over something unnecessary or I already knew. Regardless, it is exactly as described, despite myself having a little experience with UI and Widgets in UE this course definitely gave me many more creative options to work with in the future, especially during the part where he shows how to make videos play in the user interface and the part where shows how to create a settings menu in both function and design. i myself didn't go through every lesson because i already knew enough for it be very unnecessary but I can assure you your money is well spent if (like me) you don't know the fundamentals of creating user interfaces or if you are beginner to the software. only reason it's not a 5 star is because as i said it's a bit too repetitive and oversimplified but overall, it's worth it. Thanks for the learning, Vlad!

In the Design part there are a lot of repetitions, and I don't mean re-call after a while (that is fine and good for beginner), I mean repeating the same thing 3 times one after the other. I am a complete beginner and it even for me a bit frustrating, for example he constantly tells you how to duplicate, and not only 'now duplicate' but he says, 'now duplicate, CTRL+D, press D while pressing control' and not just the first time, its a bit too much. On the contrary on the blueprint side he doesn't explain much, meaning he repeat himself a lot but doesn't 'say' what are you doing, are those functions? why are some green and some blue? what is an event? So for me as a complete beginner I feel I am just following along (on the blue print side) and not grasping anything, meaning I will need to go back each time to the lesson to know what to do :(. Why 4 starts? Because anyway I am learning a lot and I still believe is worth the price.

I suggest restructuring the content so that the fundamental principles of working in Unreal Engine 5 are explained in the main section, while their repeated application to different elements is organized into separate sections with clear titles. This approach would greatly enhance the course's usability for more advanced Unreal Engine 5 users. As an example, I can mention button animations. One main section would demonstrate how to animate a button, while another section would explain how to apply the same process to additional buttons (i.e., repetitive actions for each button). This way, repetitive processes would be separated from the core principles. Those already familiar with the topic could skip this section and wouldn't have to wait for it in the video. I also appreciate that it is one of the shorter courses. I appreciate that key information is divided into distinct sections. Additionally, you might consider adding a concluding section dedicated to Main Menu development challenges not covered in the course. This could offer insights into areas to focus on after completing the course and highlight common issues encountered in practice. This section could be presented as a commentary without specific examples.

The course is very good and detailed and well explained. I would say, overly explained at times which adds up the length of the overall time. I wouldn't says it's a bad thing, but id argue as the course goes on, i don't need something explained again as if it's my first time hearing it after doing it a handful of times. I'm going to forget it anyways, least some of it as its normal. Being how the course is split up, it will be extremely easy to go back to the sections you didn't fully grasp. The course is labeled as "(Beginner to Advanced)", but i feel it's more beginner to intermediate if I'm honest here. Advance I would have loved to see controller support, drop down boxes with options, or arrows to select options, sliders, any kind of audio settings. more gfx settings, key bindings, ectra. The loading screen is a glorified delay timer with a fancy skin. Nothing was shown how to load anything in the background. Probably could be a course on it's own. Guess you could put a hint there for user experience or something but i rather it actually do it's job along the way. I highly doubt anything will be added to this as bonus. What you see if what you getting in terms of menu features. I get the instructor probably didn't want a long course, which I understand, but now I have to buy another course if any, that teaches the other things which id preferred a 30+ hour course that teaches everything in 1 place. Over, if you're a beginner, you will enjoy the course and learn how to make a menu, which is a good chunk of an operating system as well, but you're not going to get everything out of it. You will still need YouTube and other courses if you want to make a more "advance" menu Just my honest, blunt feedback. Will be keeping an eye on your future courses.

Great course! The instructor provides detailed explanations, particularly about user widgets. If you're looking to dive deep into creating a main menu (especially starting from Section 4, which covers the core aspects), I highly recommend this course

This instructor is very cognizant of his audience and progresses at an exceptional pace for teaching, additionally he is very good at reinforcing each topic in multiple ways, and consistently repeats the topic and showcases it in different ways. additionally this instructor stresses the importance of using the correct methods and not just the easy ones, and will explain and show why. This instructor so far is better than any other instructor I have learned from for Unreal Engine by a VERY large margin!

I enjoyed this course a plenty, as I did the Blueprints Optimizations course. Vlatko is an amazing instructor. Both of his courses are easy to follow, but provide enough depth for the application of best practices. Overall I felt they gave me excellent foundations from where to build upon. It was specially gratifying having my two sons and I enjoying a great time while playtesting a couple test levels I made for them and beating each other's record times in crazy ways and now I'll add the cool menu system I learned here. Viva Vlatko!
