Good to know basics of chunking with Unstructured Framework only. If you are looking for free open source chunking frameworks, this is not the course you are looking for. Course is surrounded around Unstructured Framework for chunking pdf, html, and documents.

Very very good course. Just the right duration. I have learnt a lot in this class.

So there are a couple issues with this course- if you are looking to learn how to pre-prep files for LLM ingestion, look elsewhere. Unless you can get your company to license software or they already have 'unstructured' framework for enterprise. Issue most people looking to do this work will run into not being able to go to unstructured.io and use their api. This problem is real. It would be better service to take a class on doc ai which can be accessed more widely and less costly. Or even better create all these functions put them on your repo sans api call. That would be truly helpful. PDFs are an industry bane. Teach folks how to solve that nut without pay for api- you will be a king!

I didn't like that you are using an enterprise library, unstructured, with limited capabilities in the open source version, code can't be recognized as a practice for the theoretical part! could have been better but you are GOOD instructor.

Paulo teach step by step and explains the content very good. He has a good voice and there are some hands on programs. My wish for the future is, that one of this his is developing one program to a production use.

Totally recommended if you are specifically looking to understand normalizing data from different document formats for llm consumption. The course goes to the point. The instructor is very knowledgeable, and has a soothing voice. Also, very nice visualizations.

Yes, it's an excellent way to get started, It provides enough theory with simple to understand code sample which build toward more complex use case. After this course you feel a more confident to then go ahead an read and play with online tutorial because this course provide good foundation. My only question is when we use pay framework like OpenAI and Unstructured are this the common enterprise practices. Meaning it's it cost effective to use these platforms as explained here or should this course use framework like Hugging face and open source models.

Thank you very much for this course. I found the instructor to be knowledgeable and experienced, while the content is organized and well given. As for me, the examples are a little too simple, but for someone who wants to form his knowledge - sufficient. If someone wants to write his own RAG I recommend not only this course, but others treating vectorization or writing RAG. I look forward to more courses.
