YouTube Marketing: Grow Your Business with YouTube (Udemy.com)

I am doing this through an internship and I learned a lot of behind-the-scenes tricks to better engaging and utilizing a YouTube Channel. Since I'm doing this for a company with provided equipment, I did not use the Make Better Video section all that much, but I understand this is a crucial topic for those starting from the ground up.

I say this with full compassion as a fellow content creator, many of the detailed steps and screenshots are now out of date. The general concepts are great, and I'll be taking some of his newer classes that I know will have updated sections, but I would say if you truly are brand new to You Tube, you might want to start with a newer course. This instructor, Phil, is FABULOUS, and the details of all of the social media channels change at a lightning speed that make re-doing courses more than challenging. Thanks Phil, and team. I learned a lot!

Phil, As i'm studying marketing in 2 different universities, this is as good as face to face classes which is great! Also you were super professional, using bullet points instructions that helped me A LOT to understand everything easier, now because of you i started to market for a lot of content creators, I've got a better vision of understanding YouTube and video-making. Phil has covered all the topics in detail and the teaching is also upto the mark.... Plus ➕ He has also added amazing lectures on video production from his own Video School Online which was a Bonus for Udemy Students..... This course is definitely worth it.....! I upgraded my 1 star review to a 3 1/2 star review. The first part of this course was not what I expected and I was not happy with it. Next complaint is it was hard watching Phil on the screen at times. The facial hair is a bit irritating to stare at. It is distracting. Lastly, I was finally pleased to have learned at least 2 small things from this course. So, because I was able to learn something from this particular course, I upgraded my original review. Overall, I am still a Phil fan and he does simplify things. I already took one of his other courses before this one and I loved it tremendously. Thanks Phil.

Really helped lay the foundation for what I want to accomplish. The only complaint had nothing to do with the course. It dealt with the idea that YouTube limits some of the most practical ways to build your business with requirements that you already be successful, such as 1000 Subscribers before you can link to a dedicated web site.

Great overview course for starting a YouTube channel. I would recommend view each lesson as I discovered things I missed during my own research before purchasing this course. The tip about ?sub_confirmation=1 blew my mind! Thanks again! :P

Great course with lots of hands on tips and information. Very good course if you already got a plan but want some hands on tips from already professional YouTube-channel creators. Some facts and info I already had knowledge of, but this reminded me of some that I had neglected recently. Very good, clear and pedagogic videos. Thank you!

This was an unexpected surprise course for me. I'm not a real "youtuber", but have friends who are venturing into YouTube for educational videos and took the course so I could help out. This gave me a great understanding of the ecosystem and good foundation for best practices. Highly recommend the video and the instructor.
