Course Description
This course is designed for new leaders. Such leaders may be new to leadership altogether, or just new to a particular position. The course focuses on helping new leaders get off on the right foot with their team by taking the time to get to understand the context, the history, the team and the people in it. It is designed to help people avoid some common ‘New Broom’ mistakes, helping them focus instead on engaging with their team from the very beginning in a way that creates relationships and expectations that enable the new leader to get the best from the team immediately and in the future.

I am from operational field, where mistakes are not really acceptable and a quick reaction is needed when they are noticed, and this course is more about sales, where patience, forgiving and humility for mistakes (done by employees) are more acceptable and are a part of growth and improvement for the team.

Overall a very good basic overview with good examples. Some of the video clip role plays are a little 'angry' but they do get the message across. Thanks, i will be recommending this for our wider team.

The pace of the course is just right. The speaker voice is clear and good, able to emphasize on the important points. Video to show what is a bad example is good and how it should be done right.

I learned a lot from this little course! Good real-world examples of what new leaders face after getting promoted to a leadership position. Will take away a lot from this course!

I enjoy the small acting parts paired with the dialogue. It paints a good picture when conveying points in the lesson. The short quizzes also help me to ensure I understand correctly.

This is good information and a refresher for me as I have been in a leadership role for some time. The training I received was sub par and I was using my natural abilities a lot. I like this as it follows was I always try to use.

It needs far more practical examples, overall it feels a bit stiff.
