Adobe After Effects: Advanced Shape Layers (Udemy.com)

Well worth it, I learnt some good tips and liked Phils relaxed ad-libby style. I didn't give it 5 stars bcz I felt some of the content was overlapping and presentation needed a bit of tightening up. I guess balancing content is hard and there is delicate trade off between being overly rehearsed and being relaxed but loose. Overall though, a very good course.

Phil explains everything clearly and teaches some extremely useful skills you can use for your own projects. I have downloaded many of his other courses.

Great! Simple and excellent!

Alot of this is repeats from other courses he offered. He was "winging it" alot which made the lesson hard to follow. This course just wasnt put together very well.

Thanks. I learned practical and easy methods to create shape animations especially. The only problem was sometimes resolution that was not good and big. I watched in full screen but not useful.

There are definitely some good things to learn here, so I thought the course worthwhile.Instructor's delivery would be improved by practicing several times before committing final video as final.Removal of "you know" from vocabulary would be helpful. He did get better with this as the videos progressed.Also I found that showing the final creation at the beginning of the video and then working toward that very helpful. ON the videos he did not do this, it was sometimes unclear why he was tweaking toward a final product.

If you want to learn some cool effects very efficiently and quickly, then this is the course for you. I followed Phils complete AE course first, so this feels more like a recap. But a very good one.

Some interesting techniques demonstrated but I would appreciate a more methodical approach to the individual projects. Doing things off the cuff doesn't cut it when you're paying for a course - that and the repeated tutorials from your other AE courses.

This course is a bit basic but brings out great tips of animating shapes and working with them! High Recommend this course, also for AE profis.

This course is not following a strict cursus but explain through good examples. I have learned some tips and techniques. Now I can move forward and learn some on my own. Thank you.
