For a newbie like me, it is pretty amazing that I can make such an amazing animation in such short period of time.Follow the video I can make my own flat animation icon, which is great, thanks Phil.Improvement:- Sometime the icon/option on the screen are too small, and you need to look it closely to follow the step correctly.- How to trim the composition sectionPhil points out the shortcut for Mac, but didn't mention shortcut for windows which is "alt + ]"- How to export H. 264 format (which is missing on current Ae)I saw Phil reply on Q&A, but detail steps would be helpful

I really like it even though it's only one graphic that was animated. Would be nice to have 2 different kinds of graphics or 2 exercises using different methods. Anyways, I enjoyed the class. I Iike how Phil's voice and tone is easy to follow, it's very clear.

I really enjoyed this course! I'm fairly new to After Effects (minus some light video editing), but I felt like I learned a lot. I didn't really know how to approach a 2D object in AE, but after taking this course, I feel like I can now look at a 2D object and see each part as it's own separate piece to be animated. Its an excellent course i think its a very good way to start learning After Effects in few steps and focused in motion graphics of course its a beginner course and if you expect a more complex course you have to see other courses...
