Course Description
Use Jetpack to build a modern Android App with this new course on Android development and Java.
Most tutorials and how to's on Udemy show you the basics of app building, but they don't show you how to use the latest technologies and libraries.
Most projects and jobs require you to know how to use the latest libraries. This is what this course is all about.
The purpose of this course is to teach you most of the Jetpack libraries, and give you a practical example of how to use these technologies, all while building a simple example app.
We will learn about:
Navigation
Room
Data Binding
AndroidX
KTX extensions
Lifecycles
Live Data
ViewModel
Notifications
Permissions
Sharing
Preferences
Fragments
Layouts
Palette
Multidex
As a bonus, we will also learn
MVVM architecture
Retrofit
RxJava
Glide
And we will build the app in Java.
We will cover a lot of technologies and we will implement them all in an application, so you can have a practical example.
If you want to build an app that scales and is robust, these technologies will make your life easy in the long term.
Sign up today, and let's learn how to use Jetpack to build a modern Android Application.

The best course I have enrolled in for android development. Everything is explained, and you can really tell that the author has a lot of information about android development. Most of the code is very recent but even with some deprecated classes like AsyncTask it is very easy to find a replacement in stackoverflow. Thank you for this course.

One of the best courses, if not the best that explains all the essential Jetpack Libraries. This course is not for someone without previous Android experience. The instructor was very clear when explaining every detail. I recommend this course if you are interested in learning more about Jetpack.

I find explanation and the speaking pratical, intresting and clear. It's rare, i really appreciate it. Explain the basic, the concepts and code are clear and solid enough for to be a course. I really recommend to those that have some basic in Android but doesn't know about MVVM and the Jetpack "world" - So it has to be a must to follow this course. It's simplifies many aspects about development.

I liked so much the content. I have experience in Android and this couse showed me a different way of doing things. In the code examples there are some methods or best practices that could be shown but it's out of the scope. But I liked the couse.

Hello Catalin sir! I would like to say thank thank thank a big thank you for such an amazing course. It is one of the best course on Udemy. I really loved your way of teaching, the way you explained everything was fabulous. In the beginning, I was really confused about how to get started with Jetpack, but now it seems clear. Once again thank you. Keep going.

A little ways in - can't even get test project to compile after following his instructions. Waiting on help. Update - no help after 6 days, so I just copied his code. Noticed that he RARELY responds to any questions...and why only 1 star. Encountered another problem with RxJava and retrofit. Posted a question, but don't expect an answer. If I can't get this fixed, no point in continuing course and will just get a refund.

I have bought many courses from Udemy, some good, some bad and some terrible. But this course is the only one that I must qualify as a GREAT COURSE. The instructor demonstrates his true knowledge of the matter. This course help me a lot to learn the new features from the Android JetPack.

Really good course, explaining the latest in android development. I've used this course as part of a school project which we implemented successfully. The teacher has a clear teaching style. Only complaint i have is the use of butterknife instead of the data binding library.

This course is really straight forward and clear enough to understand. I would recommend to put some comments in the code since it's hard to understand when reading the code back (after finishing the course) and by having comments in the code will allow students not to come back to the website and watch the video or find which part of it is about the particular topic. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COURSE.
