An incredibly well-built short course, backed by Brent's plentiful experience and even some interesting science. The length of the course is just right to explain + let you experience through projects the most important and carefully selected ways to develop your creativity. Brent's explanations are super clear, concise and sometimes brutally honest - but that's exactly what's needed in order to nurture creativity. Were I sometimes uncomfortable during this course? Yes. Did I not feel up to do all the assignments? Yes. But while following Brent's lead. I realized and experienced something I didn't see as clearly before, and also took a step in letting go of my inner critic. I highly recommend the course. Get ready for some challenging explanations, get ready to do the work, and, most importantly, implement creativity in your life. The course is only the beginning. It won't magically fix your creativity. It can only open the path. It's up to you to keep walking it. Thanks Brent.

Instructor Bio
Drawing has been my lifelong passion. After studying at Otis College of Art & Design in Los Angeles, I continued to study numerous forms of drawing including the timeless traditions of the old masters as well as cutting-edge contemporary practices.
I have been teaching drawing for over 25 years at studios, museums, galleries, and schools and have developed numerous bestselling online figure drawing courses taught to an international student base.
In 2017 I was honored as one of Udemy's Best New Instructors.
