The Art & Science of Drawing / CONTOURS (Udemy.com)

The timing and filming of Brent’s videos are excellent. His delivery of the subject matter is clear and well developed. His examples are spot on. The banana was an excellent way to demonstrate foreshortening. Thank you Brent. I look forward to watching all of your videos.

The lectures on foreshortening are the best on the subject I've ever seen explained and my application of the techniques made an immediate difference to my drawing. If you've been following the series of the Art and Science of Drawing from the beginning (which I strongly recommend) at this point many of the techniques are coming together and like me, you'll notice a marked improvement in the quality and realism of your drawings.

Brent Eviston is an amazing teacher. His lectures are always straight to the point and he teaches you crucial fundamentals that any artist will benefit from.

Just as Brent Elviston's other courses, I found this course helpful and easy to follow. I really appreciate how the Art & Science of Drawing courses build from course to course, featuring various aspects of drawing with sub topics within. The way individual course topic builds upon the previous, makes the whole learning process less intimidating. Thank you for creating this series and making it available and affordable.

Buon corso con ottimi suggerimenti, non sempre facili da mettere a punto.Credo che ci voglia tempo ma le indicazioni basiche per esercitarsi sono molto chiare

This is a great course. Extremely well taught, with good exercises. You can upload your drawings, which will receive personal comments from the teacher (although the comments can sometimes be a bit generic and not always answering a specific question). I have tried various drawing courses on Udemy but this is BY FAR the best one. I can really recommend it. I went trough all the previous courses in this series and really see improvement in my drawings.

Excellent course throughout; both content and delivery are exceptional. Why 4 instead of 5 stars then? Well, due to its length: at only 1,5 hour I've got the feeling the course is a bit too short. My recommendation would be either to merge it with another of Brent's shorter courses (surely that can be done without damaging their carefully crafted pedagogical structure) or to prolong it including more exercises or delving deeper into core concepts. In any case I duly recommend Brent's courses, including this one.

Absolutely wonderful course. I had some experience with basic forms and proportions and decided that this course is right for me. Well, I actually learned a lot. Even after a week of practice drawing random objects - I start to feel real improvement.
Brent is truly a fantastic instructor. All the explanations are perfectly clear and are right on point.
I'am planning on taking all of the Brent's courses since I think there's much to learn or refresh in each of them.

Excellent course. Really good teacher, clear instructions. I feel like I am learning a lot.

It's definitely useful! Easily the best drawing course that I've taken.
