Brent is very thorough in describing every detail ail this f the drawing. He speaks very clearly and concisely. Love to watch his arm movements and his smooth drawing skills.

I felt that there's a heck of a lot of info and ideas that Brent came out with that I feel that this Basics course will be one that I will be coming back to again and again. Brent is obviously a skilled artist and tutor and gives you a lot to think of and work with. There's still some work that I have to complete but will be doing so very shortly, and with the help of the instruction on this course I am sure to succeed eventually I am feeling. He is very encouraging in that he says that all artists get it wrong at first and only get it right by persevering. This always helps to keep in mind. As I practiced the basics I could feel and see that these could lead to greater confidence in the future. I have drawn before and have practiced other similar basics but I feel it's something I must do much, much more. And yes being tentative in your work after much observation is I believe so important. I could see the point of a lot of what Brent says in the course. Thanks Brent keep up the good work, we need creative people to help others do creative things.

I have enjoyed drawing on and off for many years, but sadly despite all my endeavours and perseverance I still lack the knowledge and skills to produce what I would call quality drawings, so I made a continuous decision to find a teacher who not only has the experience in the art of drawing but more importantly in teaching the art.
I recently came across Brent Eviston The Art & Science of Drawing and signed up for the Basic Skills course. I am amazed in just one week how much I have improved - I must admit with lots of practice. I have not finished the course yet but am excited about the potential development of my drawing skills.

Excellent teaching techniques. I have NEVER drawn something before because I thought I had no talent. So far I have drawn a jay, a dove x 3, and a magnolia x2. Its far from well drawn but beyond my expectations. Looking forward to the next course.
