I halved my 2B and HB pencils with these exercises. I tried to draw some of the drawings, and I can't believe how soft the feel is as I was drawing a pillow. I wanted to take one step further, practicing atmosphere, and used my carbon pencil in my set. It is almost finished. That exercise was great for discovering the material as well!! Thank you, Brent, I feel much more comfortable about drawing every week with your courses!!

This course has a detailed lesson with demonstrations on the topic of Dynamic mark-making. As I have completed the course I have a better understanding of dynamic mark making and atmospheric view in the painting. I found this course extremely beneficial for the beginner who has no prior knowledge of fine arts.

I really enjoyed this course and learnt a lot from it. I'm not trained in anyway in art, except from the usual art classes in school. I've found that following this course and the beginners course prior to it by Brent, they are very easy to follow and the breakdown of how to look at the object is excellent, certainly feel an improvement indeed.
