Hi! I'm Nick, and I love to code. About five years ago I decided that I wanted to learn to code, but I had limited access to programming resources, and I was getting frustrated with all of the YouTube videos and online tutorials out there. I experimented, struggled, and definitely failed a lot, but I finally got the hang of it, so I decided that I wanted to change the way that people learned to code, and I started teaching. My experience as an online student has directly influenced my teaching style, because I know what it is like to be in your shoes.
When
Apple announced their new programming language, Swift, in 2014, I made my big online teaching debut and created the
internet's first Swift course. Since that time, I have
become a full-time online instructor and I now have courses not only in Swift,
but also in iOS, Android, Django, Kotlin, Python, HTML, Blockchain, etc. I have also created five iOS apps from scratch that are currently live in the App Store and are being used by thousands of users worldwide.
I love sharing my excitement for coding with my students, and I try to make learning as fun and as easy as possible. Thanks for being part of my coding community!

Most of the sections are way too outdated and most stuff has changed so the main idea is there but you can't even get the material to replicate the course...either update the whole course or stop selling it cause it's not worth it right now...

I think the course is great. Even if you are already familiar with the topics, there might be a gap which might be filled. Only downside I see is, that guys skipped best practices and that might lead some novices into not really clean code. But on the other hand, they kept it on point, so best practices might stretch videos through bearable amount of time. Anyways I recommend the course.

This course is labeled intermediate however as a somewhat beginner the lessons are very clear and easy to follow. You can't go wrong with these 2 great instructors - Nick Walter & Mark Price! Great instructors indeed. Love the balance of humor with learning. :)

Some of the lectures are pretty good, however there doesn't seem to to be anyone monitoring the forums or online chat. Also, the UITesting chapter seems to be incompatible with the lastest version of XCode.

This course is so great! Thank you very much. I've learned lots of new and advanced features. Mark 's programming skills are really good and Rick presentation is so fun and easy to follow.

It's not a real advance course. I reviewed InAppPurchases and I realized it was explained in a superficial way. For example, if we have different options to buy, e.g. a renewal subscription and a non renewal subscription, how to handle them? The video did not apply to a more complex situation, only basic ones. I was expecting a more deep analisys.

Love this guy and his tutorials. Almost bought all of them and I'm very happy with my purchases. The tutorials are very informative and the most important aspect of them to me is that he shows you the process that most professional programmers go through to solve certain problems. Out of all the tutorials that I have purchased so far inside and outside of udemy that is the most important aspect that I have learned so far. Because it has made me confident that with a little legwork I can get my problems answered on my own without feeling overwhelmed.

These are the best and most affordable iOS Development teachers you will find anywhere, and very enjoyable to learn from. They teach you how to design apps to give them incredible visual appeal, as well as all of the best practices in building apps. If you want to become an iOS Developer, I would highly recommend learning from Mark and Nick!

Yep. You just earned it. I like that fact that you and Marc are collaborating. Maybe the only thing to potentially change is the fact that some of code is available directly from Udemy directly and some is on Devslopes. I know that some bigs things are coming down the line, so maybe this is the best way to transition in the meantime.

quite the step up in speed! maybe i'm too tired as well, but i had to stop and think stuff through a bunch of times, mostly in the animations section ;) looking forward to the rest:) and it's super awesome that this stuff is built modularly, so we can tinker with it and reuse it elsewhere!
