It is an okay introduction. I was frustrated by the presentation: For instance, don't tell me what the text is doing, I can see that. Tell me what you are clicking on to make the text do that. Also, I don't need a stream of the teacher looking at their computer. That teaches me nothing. I'd rather see more of the screen, closeups of what you are clicking on, etc. The thesis of my criticism is: show me what you are clicking on. Even on full screen I can't see it, and you move between actions so fast that the resolution doesn't allow us to see what you are doing. And the yellow highlight circle just obscures what you are doing even more.

I found this course on reddit.com/r/aftereffects, and at first I had no idea what kinetic typography was. I've seen it a few times in commercials, music videos, etc but didn't actually think it is as time consuming and complicated as it is. This course outlined all the basics as well as how to be efficient as possible. I just started learning After Effects and created a video that I'm very proud of because of this video.
