Learn 3D Animation - The Ultimate Blender A-Z Guide (Udemy.com)

I have tried many Blender courses in the past but usually get overwhelmed and end up quitting half way through. I have just finished this one and would give it more than five stars if I could. The content is well taught by an instructor who clearly knows what they are doing and how to do it well, the pace is perfect and everything is understandable to the level of being able to see how much you actually improve as you go through each section. I honestly can't say enough how fantastic this course was, and wanted to wait until I finished it to leave my review. I can't wait to start the next one I have already purchased.

i had many issues while using blender before. this course is a quite simple to teach how to use blender in best way. moreover you can find ways to deal with any issues you are going to have it. i tried to make a bell buoy. i did not know the normal orientaion will be my best friend to complete my project. and more things in this course is helping me. and this course is teaching by the last blender's update we have it now. beside of that. the way of teaching is so easy to understand. i am in the lesson 51. and everyday i get a new skill and knowledge from you Alex. thank you so much alex.

Overall, decent. I can imagine how many people have been annoyed of this guy, and for good reason. However, I can tell he is indeed passionate about what he does, and I am glad he got to share that energy and yes, the demonstration of that skill with us. I'm thankful that he appears enthused in the growth of others. I may likely test this in further depth soon. Perhaps the section where I got the MOST benefit was the later half of the final project. It could be my prepared attention span, but I REALLY enjoyed how he covered the usage of bones in shape keys AND animation! Surprisingly (knock on wood) I can remember some of these tips since I was seeing this a couple of days ago - time to put those to use, right? The usage of quotes at the end of almost every slide felt a little much, but if it's his style, I can't be too big of a critic on that. I also can relate to the feel of tedium. I think one of the biggest things he managed to convey is how Blender really is a virtual workshop tool - lots of focus, along with lots of tedium. Overall, nice work. I may very well connect in the near future!

I waited until the end to post a review so I could give an unbiased review. Alex is clearly a very nice person and knows a lot about Blender. The Pros - This course covers A LOT. - It's great for beginners. - He has these little inspirational quotes at the end of each lecture (I enjoyed it, some people might not) - it will take a long time to get through it, but you will learn a lot along the way. The Cons - You will have to go back and forth in the video several times to get it right. - He spends a lot of time off topic and then quickly jumps to an important step (i often had to go back and re-watch his rambling to get to the important step a few times). - Some lectures should be re-recorded because he will make a mistake and then erase everything he did and start over mid-lecture. Not a big deal but worth mentioning: - Some of the lectures could use some polish. There are a few VERY RARE occasions when he forgets to mute his mic and gets on a phone call (says hi to his mom or something). Not a big deal but worth mentioning. There's even one spot where he says "OK Alex remove this part" lol

good teach flow, however I did not get too good grip about sculpting part, but to be honest I dislike sculpting as a whole so it could be me, trying to skip to the next more interesting part for me :) Anyway good job. Most of the stuff I already went through in ultimate blender 3d modeling lectures, however these are refreshed for me here, and some different approaches were noticeable too, so I like the course...thumbs up from my point of view, and objectively someone who is new to blender could follow it along easily PS:those quotes at the end of the videos...well at the beginning I was like: wtf?? But in the end...they make sense to be in course :)

I like the way Alex shows things and makes them easy to understand. Would leave all 5 stars except I have been experiencing quite a bit of trouble reaching him this week. There have been things in the videos that haven't worked so I've wound up skipping over them.

For a complete beginner is it really easy to understand. During this course you will learn new things and then you will apply it in some project. In half of this course I already had some awesome animations to be proud of. Now when I finished it I have a great understending on how to animate. Of course there is still a tons of things I could learn, but there are easy to understand now, not like something from diferent world. And If you are not a native english speaker like me, fear no more, because Alex has a clear pronunciation, so English is no an obstacle. Thank you Alex for this course Jirka

I have done other Blender courses, but this one is the only true complete course, unlike the others which seem to have you working on a single character or object at a time. Instructor Alex has a solid way of progressing through the course-for example, will show how to create/manipulate using a box fist before he shows you on the actual character you are working on. You learn all the basics first before the full project starts. So you kinda go through most of the skills twice, reinforcing your learning. Cannot recommend enough-very satisfied-he is actually funny and inspirational as well with his sometimes silly quotes. Excellent teacher and excellent material. 70% completed the course so far. Great job Alex! Your love for Blender, teaching and helping people comes through in this course.

One of the best blender courses on udemy! The instructor is excellent, very good teaching methodology, simple and direct instruction, the course is practically an overview of the blender, from the principles of modeling up to key frame animation, even has a small section in the course designed for sculpture, Which demystified the process of digital sculpture in a simple way.
