I have mixed feelings about this course. From one side, is short, straight to the point, nice explained and is an excellent option for beginners. From the other side, it lacks of structure, the instructor change the examples constantly. If you are going to do that, please provide the files to avoid to write the code every time you change the examples (you can include a link to an existing database and the instructions how to be installed, or the sql files to create them, or the c# classes that will be used as an example). Also the course is not updated at all. Luckily, with minor corrections, this wasn't a blocker and I could keep going. Overall, it was useful to me, and I thank that was short and straight to the point.

The course develops the building blocks of knowledge well. I liked both the pace and articulation of the concepts and it answered some previous gaps.

Very informative course, but on the last quiz one of the answers is wrong. To creating a dbcontext for an existing database the command is Scaffold-Database, the quiz says the answer is UpdateDatabase

It does seem to go a bit fast. Trying to keep up as the instructor goes along is almost impossible. But, yes I can pause and rewind...but that seems to take away a bit from learning as the instructor moves along.

I appreciate that this course is straight forward to teach without detours, but in some topics, it should go deeper, for example about LINQ, but that's just a small downside. It's great course anyway.

I develop C# apps but my company has DBA and we do not use EF. I have taken EF courses over the years just to stay informed. This was the best EF course I have taken - by far. I believe its because of two things - 1) its a great course 2) Microsoft made using EF extremely simple....

Lot of insights into the inner workings of ef core with a lot of good examples and step by step explanations. Very useful to get started for most every scenario.

I discovered things no other teacher explains. I come from old technology and methods and just think this way. For example for 30+years I would design the database first and then the rest of the application - screens, reports... It's like driving a car on on side of the street and you're comfortable getting around. However codefirst is a different process and like ok now drive on the other side of the street. Anyway I was glad to see sql, stored procedures, and database first explained. Thanks

It was a good overview of EF Core and the examples were straightforward. The only thing that is missing is a deeper look at m:n relations, how to query them or store them in an efficient way.

Very good knowledge of the tutor, detailed info, bunch of good practice tips. I got all knowledge that I need to use EF Core gathered in this course. I like it very much!
