Master the Transitions in Your Music (Udemy.com)

Mike is very passionate, well structured and methodical in his teaching. As he is a top class composer in the film industry I am fortunate to have access to courses from him. Because Udemy allows us to have access to. courses we purchase for life, this is now a reference source for future endeavors. In signing up for the course I was looking to resolve problems with a couple of songs I've written but trying to produce digitally. Because I was looking for transitions in song structure rather than film structure I did not have the mindset for this course which would have helped me to see applications beyond my situation. I would like to have seen transitions from. one key to another, from major to minor for a song . . . I will watch this again, over and over. I love Mike's music and I could just listen to it all day.

Some of this content seems obvious, but Mike breaks it down so that you can create transitions intentionally and with purpose, rather than just fumbling through it. This course is short and sweet, but by the end, you'll be creating much better transitions.

This is my 5th course with Mike, so I can only say I love everything about it. Right to the point every time...Mike makes things very simple to understand, and later on, Implement in any genre you wish.

This is Baggstrom's best class. Much of his content seems like filler to me in many of his other videos but this particular video series is jam packed with really good information on this particular aspect of composition. I haven't really found anyone else so concisely demonstrate so many transition and tension and release techniques anywhere online and I have scoured the internet like crazy looking for information on this one aspect of composition. If you can get this particular class on sale it's a steal.
