Mike shares short cuts to composing music, so that for someone with my skill level has hopes to compose well beyond my ability to play. The table of contents will show you that he has a variety of methods you can use. He also suggested some apps for on the go. He mentioned he would leave a file which I have yet to look for and upload to my DAW. I am happy that I took this course. It will help me in my efforts to compose and write songs, or improve the ones I have written.

This course is a terrific introduction to everything that is needed to be an excellent composer. If you already have experience composing, it will serve as a comprehensive review of the elements you work with. The class is also exciting, inspiring and encouraging, like Mike’s other classes.

I tried a few best seller courses on Udemy concerning music composition, and frankly wasn't that impressed, then I found Mikael. There is something in the way that Mikael presents his ideas that click with me, and he always brings practical applications to his theories. If you haven't tried his courses yet, I highly recommend you give them a try. I doubt you'll be disappointed. Peace.

Good Course for the beginner composers, although he did not dwell very much into on how to composing, but still amazing course for not being overwhelmed on the process of composing your own music. My favoritt video is the: The block method, sketch method, MC method and the explanation on how mixing in theory and the overall music production. This is a highly recommend course.

It was very informative course. I have been in music a long time, and needed to discover some composition ideas that could shake loose some writers block that hits from time to time. This course provides great tools for keeping inspired with musical ideas. Mikael Baggstrom really believes in these methods and describes them with a clarity that is refreshing.
