Photo Colorization: Colorize Historical Photos in Photoshop (Udemy.com)

This is a great course. I had zero experience with photoshop and used it for the first time with this course. I just finished the course and have been able to easily colorize photos. Much better than the AI colorizers or having to pay someone each time I need something done. His cheat sheets and color templates are very helpful as well. Especially since I'm not very artistic.

This course gave a very good foundation for colourization. It does a good job of talking about skin tones and how to create them. It could be a bit more in depth on how to approach other aspects but it is a great way to learn this technique and it also give you the confidence to try it out.

This was pretty average. I have two courses from this instructor and I have to say I have found them both to be pretty repetitive and his delivery almost puts me to sleep. I have got something from both courses but a more exciting, robust delivery would be welcome

The information was easy to understand and was presented in several different examples. I was easily able to replicate the process and he provides a tool that makes it easy to remember what to do for future projects. I have wanted to learn this for a very long time, but thought that it would be much harder to do... great course...

Much better course than it started out to be. One suggestion I have is that Phil remind us at each step what the opacity level for the brush and for the layer is as he goes along. He sometimes forgets to do so and it is difficult, if not impossible, to see for yourself. Otherwise, the lessons are very helpful and Phil's technique is clearly demonstrated over and again. I learned to colorize my BW photos from this course. Thanks, Phil.

Overall quality teaching. The course fulfilled my expectations in pretty much every way. My only minor criticism would be that the instructor could be a little bit more confident on the delivery, but he seems to know his stuff either well researched or practised. Nice. Thanks.

I loved this course. As a photo editor I feel like this will greatly further my skills and knowledge. The addition of the supplemental resources that can be used to follow along with the course if you aren't exactly a visual learner and learn better by physically performing the tasks of the lesson.

I have discovered a whole new focus for using Photoshop. After completing this class I have colorized several of my old family photos, much to the delight of my family. I learned so much from this course, and have so many useful resources to draw from. I could never have accomplished what I have done without it. Thank you!

All the tips were amazing. Enjoyed seeing Phil demonstrate them in a variety of photo types. The resources should prove to be extremely helpful. This give me more confidence in what I believe I can do with photo colorization. Look forward to finishing a photo project and sharing it.
