React and Flux Web Development for Beginners (Udemy.com)

This class was more complete than I expected. It doesn't just teach you how React works, but everything you need to know to do a React project. I especially loved learning how to create a React skeleton (I use it all the time now) and set things up with Flux and other NPM packages. I feel closer to working like a professional programmer. The pacing is good and the explanations are clear.

Great learner course. He does a great job of explaining the small things like setting up the node packages you will need.

Easy to follow content. Flux and Reflux are well explained.

I am about 3/4 of the way through and I actually like his style of not having everything scripted out and already set. It's nice actually being able to see him write the code as he goes and run into problems and errors. Being able to see how other people figure out what the problem is also helps. His knowledge of React seems to be pretty good and I like that he goes into detail a lot of the time to explain why he is doing certain things.

he start doing something after 3 hours of video,

he intentionally speaks very very slow, you have to watch the video's with 1.5x speed than he sounds normal and he explains unnecessary things all the time to make the video's long,

I can say 60% of content is emm ummm and empty talk,

probably I will look for refund as well,

I check to find out something useful or to learn but all he does is to talk about this and that and nothing clear, he uses all time to talk about jebrish repeated sentences.

He hardly explains anything, all he says is do it in this way write this line here and 1 hours goes with talking about tools such as editors and chrome extensions etc.

Great course, clear and step by step. In my opinion buy this is a good inversion

Loving the course. I am not a web developer, but got this course in hopes of getting a job. He teaches real life examples that you would use in a real job. Even though this course is not designed for complete beginners it helped me a ton. I can go out of this class confident on making any website.

This course teaches the basics of react in a very organized way, it help to understand the principles behind react and challenged me through exercise it to understand it deeply.

The instructor was very clear, sometimes even repetitive but in a good way because it explained what he was doing, instead of assuming that the students already understands what he was doing.

All the course material is up to date with the latest versions which is very important in the world of web development.

Finally I just want to say thanks to Mark for making this course which I enjoyed and learned a lot from it.

This lecture has really taught me a lot about web development and how to create my own websites

very informative and thorough. Breaks down each section into digestible information. code and applications are relevant to real-life.

The way he teaches by breaking things down and draws them out so you understand the bigger picture was very helpful for me.

If you are not very clear on the basics of react this is a excellent course to take.

Production quality is very good (heard you dropped the black background, I was liking it)

Few things to note

Es6 is not used in the course (I would love to see a lecture of refactoring one one of the apps)

Mixins are used

When using a server it is in a separate folder (had never seen this before, but not a bad thing)

Currently nothing about Relay in the course (I originally took this because it came up when I searched Relay, but I do not regret taking it!)

This course started off great as Mark explained in depth about React. The course started to do downhill when it started into the react-router section. The version of react-router used in this course is version 3 while the latest version is version 4. React-router dramatically changed its API from v3 to v4 so all of this section is completely outdated.

The course is outdated and doesn't seem like it will be updated anytime soon. There's also no instructor feedback. Every video we are told to join a chat group for any questions or discussions. When I tried this, I messaged Mark directly and he completely ignored my question.

All in all I wouldn't recommend this course and it is definitely not worth the money. There are far better and more up to date React courses on here
