Course Description
Learn How to Become an Efficient Music Composer
Making music is a creative process, and you want to be in "the flow" when you make music. Basically you want to take the great ideas you have in your head, and turn them into parts and performances in music, as fast as you can.
In this course you will learn many ways you can increase this flow, and become a much more productive composer. You will learn:
Efficient Workflow Systems
Quick Mockup & Sketching Techniques
Great Productivity Tools
However, keep in mind that what is most important, is that you find workflow techniques that suits YOU. Because everyone is different, and have different ways and preferences of how you work efficiently. I am personally a huge believer in creating an environment that improves your creative workflow. This means your studio hardware and software as well as the vibe and atmosphere. I am also a fan of creating systems that speeds up your creative process. I will teach you all my favorite workflow systems as well as productivity tools, and I hope you will try them out, and also use them as inspiration to come up with your own workflow and productivity boosters for music creation.
We who teach this course are 2 composers with decades of experience making music. We think it will also be beneficial for you to get 2 different perspectives on workflow and productivity in this course.
Good luck, and let’s get started! =)

Great course with many useful tips. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. It would be great to have the list of plugins in a pdf document at the end. Thank you to both of you.

Very thorough introductions to a lot of workflow & programming concepts. Not meant for beginners but introduces great concepts to take your daw knowledge to the next level.

Concise, to-the-point, and perfectly polished in delivery by both Mikael and Zach. Granted, this course is short in terms of its run-time, but it touches "just enough" on everything that a modern composer needs to take into consideration for their personal workflow without diving too extensively into needless semantics and deep, deep detail by pontificating on hypotheticals that ultimately come down to each composer's individual workflow and individual methodology when it comes to writing music. (That isn't [or wouldn't be] the point of the course. Everyone works differently. Remember that.) If you've got a few hours to spare and you are serious about soaking up some tips to advance your personal workflow, then this course is worth the meager investment. It's a home run knocked out of the park!

Mike is one of the clearest, most concise, generous spirited and practical teacher for burgeoning composers I've ever come across! He has a gift for rendering complex subjects accessible and his tips are instantly useable! I never hesitate to buy a course put together by him.

So many great tips so far. Learning about Logic's articulation sets was genuinely life changing, and I got a faderbox as recommended and it's been making my life SO much easier. Woohoo!
By Ronnie McGuire on 9/24/2021
This is exactly what my music workflow needs to be more successful. A lot of this sounds like simple advice, but it does add up and makes a difference!
