Ich bin inzwischen im Abschnitt 3, habe aber bisher nur sehr viel über Material gehört. Jetzt fängt er an zu zeichnen, aber einmal viel zu schnell und außerdem ist die Kameraperspektive schlecht, so dass man hauptsächlich seinen Arm sieht. Ich hoffe, dass der Kurs besser wird.

I really enjoyed this course. The way it's presented is great. Each lesson builds from the last one. It is technical in places but is extremely well explained. I also got a lot out of watching the longer projects and the process Jonathan goes though. He does say that you can speed up the video if you choose but I found this very informative. Overall this is a great course if you're new to drawing, returning from a long break or draw regularly and want to brush up. I would highly recommend this course to anyone.

Overall, this course delivers exactly what it promises: a comprehensive course on drawing that really did improve my drawing and observational skills. The course is also well structured for a beginner, building on previous skills before going to the next. However, I can't say there aren't points of frustrations. Sometimes the video doesn't show the line clearly, especially in the early drafting process where the lines are very light. And there are parts in the longer projects where I have no idea at all what the instructor is doing since we seem to be doing the same thing for the past three videos. Without explanation as to what's actually going on from his perspective, I was basically going by my own instinct because my paper was fatiguing terribly at certain points and we still have more videos to go. I wish I could've learned more techniques from those videos but I just ended up more or less trying to copy the image from the file because I have no idea what's going on half the time.

I think this was a very worthwhile course; I think Jonathan did a phenomenal job covering the various concepts of perspective, light, shadow, gesture, depth/dimension, curvature, etc. I especially valued his teaching on drawing the human face. He walks you through the facial features one step at a time...I found it most helpful!

It is a great course. You have all the elements to draw, and after some time you can do good drawings. I can recommend it. It is a great oportunity to learn to draw properly. In my opinion I am very lucky to meet this good teacher, everything it´s pretty clear. I didn´t need to ask questions. Bravo Jonathan. Now I´d like a "follow up" course using the nblok in method, applied to portraits, landscapes.. And I want to thank you, because I´ve learnt a lot. I´d like to see you again.

I really enjoyed this course and learned a lot. I enjoyed Jonathan's pace and development of skills to be built on in subsequent lessons. I enjoy using the wireframe techniques to bring out 3d aspects of an object and I now understand perspective better than I ever did before. (One, two and three point perspective...what a concept! It so much fun. I can now understand better how to work landscapes with those in mind). He uses charcoal most of the time which projects well on camera , however I can't really use in my workspace,but I'm going to give it a go soon for the portrait technique he showed. So messy (LOL). Maybe work outside. Very enjoyable and I feel like I have developed techniques I will use extensively in the future to make my work better! Thanks so much!!

I really loved the course! The best part was the perspective and structural drawing section which is so very helpful. The way Jonathan explained the concepts of lighting, shadow and tone was commendable. Overall a very cool experience! Initially I was not sure if I will be that interested but not only was it interesting but also there was so much new to learn. THANK YOU JONATHAN, really!

Wow! What an amazing course!! I already see the difference in my drawings as I use the techniques in the exercises. It's changed how I see drawings. Now when I look at a drawing (as well as a photo) I immediately see the light and dark contrasts, and so much more....now it's my turn to get practising! Thank you so much for this wonderful course!

This course was phenomenal. I have never really spent any time drawing so I was reluctant but Jonathan's style and information really inspired me. I was hoping the course could have gone on forever. It is really nice to know that I have continual access to the lessons because I know I will be referring to them as needed. The best review I can say is that I am going to continue drawing.

This course definitely helped me improve my drawing skills and gave me direction as to how I should think about what I draw. The only thing I missed is that some example photos haven´t been covered, as it would be interesting to see how a pro would go on about drawing them (like that amazing elephant in the landscape practice and the portrait with the lost and found edges in the perspective lesson). I still hope to enter a Facebook group so I will leave my Facebook name here in hopes someone will add me (Loreta Đurašin).
