I was comfortable with Indesign before taking this course. I decided to take this one just to brush up on skills and keep learning. Chad teaches very well and is pretty easy to follow along.

Great beginner's course to InDesign. The delivery is a little disjointed, but the collection of lectures does offer a comprehensive overview of basic skills. The quizzes at the end of each section offer a vital opportunity to test knowledge as you progress, and the additional materials compliment the course well.

I am not new to InDesign, yet I wanted to find an instructor that could give me an edge to understanding more about the software and design principles. I choose this instructor as his knowledge and teaching are thorough. He is at the level of where I am venturing to for my own company. I have learned usable skills in today's digital structure and look forward to applying these skills. I have desktop publishing skills from my many years as an executive assistant doing presentations, meeting agenda documents and other forms of documents. Not to mention flyers and other materials that I have freelanced doing. I am not at the season in my life where I am taking my journey down a road of anticipation of designing, photography, and videography. Very good so far. Not too keen on picas or inches. Used to metric system plus its way way easier to work out especially for non maths people such as me but that's just a personal thing.
