Learn Adobe InDesign: Design a Magazine and More in InDesign (Udemy.com)

You are my favorite Adobe CC instructor! I am familiar with PS, but needed to learn about In-Design and Illustrator for work. It was intriguing and engaging. I didn't find your voice to be robotic. There were times when I needed to pause the video because my computer was not running as quickly as yours, but Udemy has the "slow down" feature that I could use to fix that. Overall this was a fantastic crash course for a beginner like me on In-Design!

I am not new to InDesign, yet I wanted to find an instructor that could give me an edge to understanding more about the software and design principles. I choose this instructor as his knowledge and teaching are thorough. He is at the level of where I am venturing to for my own company. I have learned usable skills in today's digital structure and look forward to applying these skills. I have desktop publishing skills from my many years as an executive assistant doing presentations, meeting agenda documents and other forms of documents. Not to mention flyers and other materials that I have freelanced doing. I am not at the season in my life where I am taking my journey down a road of anticipation of designing, photography, and videography. I look forward to sharing my journey with as much of the world as possible. Remember to enjoy your journey[ies] as well. Blessings

Great course! I never thought I would be able to understand how Adobe InDesign works. I have finally managed to create my first ever print-ready full-page ad copy and my boss is very happy with my work. Thanks for creating such a constructive course. I would strongly recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn Adobe InDesign but is a complete beginner, just as I was. Fabulous!

I'm not an InDesign freshman, but I learned a lot from this course. I would reccomend this course to people, that already made some experience with InDesign, and want to improve their InDesign skills and learn some options, that are more hidden or not that obvious in the programm. I'm using CS6 version, and it wasn't problem at all. Only few features that InDesign CC has are missing.

Thanks Chad, The course was well constructed and easy to follow. I am now looking forward to creating some experimental documents to test my memory and see how well I can navigate Indesign. I'm also looking forward to uploading these for critiquing and hearing insights from other students so I can pick up additional tricks and design tips. good course but there is a lag of communication, instructor never check the homework or questions from other student. when i wrote this comment my post was more than 20 days old and noticed questions from other student over a month old without any review from instructor.

I really enjoyed the course "Learn InDesign: Design Magazines and More" Dr. Chad has a very nice clear crisp tone of voice to learn from, with much experience in which he shared I felt confident enough to create a book for a Cancer foundation. The layout of his course was simple enough to return to areas I needed by looking through his content. He leads you into good design concepts where you will find useful for many future design projects. This is why I rated his course excellent. Thank you Dr. Chad.

I've taken 2 in-person InDesign courses in the past and still felt like I had no clue what I was doing. This class changed all that. Each lesson builds on previous lessons and if you forget something, it's often repeated later. If not, you can always press pause and figure it out. I'm now comfortable putting InDesign on my resume and I can't wait to keep improving.

Chad's course is extremely comprehensive and engaging. Although not exactly what I was looking for (specifically book design which I knew from the outset) this course certainly has amazing InDesign training as well as good design principles for magazines. Chad does move along pretty swiftly but each module is in convenient bite size chunks so to pause/replay is no problem at all. Added to this, my questions/queries were answered quickly and efficiently and Chad sends various updates and news about his courses and training. All-in-all highly recommended!

Chad Neuman is one of my favorite teachers. He prepares the curriculum so well that we engage all the way till the end. Except some very few basics such as the terminology explanations etc, Chad has covered almost everything that needed; we can call it practical learning. There are also course materials, lab exercises at the end and some additional resources to help us learn and experience what he taught. However, some of his resources with indd format may not be compatible with some older versions of Indesign CC. As a critic, I liked the course and I recommend it to everybody who simply needs to learn everything about indesign as quickly as possible.
