i think it would have been better to just show the x and y proportional contraints. I'm not sure I agree with the methodology being taught but maybe it will come further on in the class

Wonderfully compact and portable course which explains the basics from scratch that too in an awesome learner friendly manner, makes the learner evolve and progress step by step higher and higher into grace and greatness.

There is a nice flow to this course and the instructor provides explanations for what you are doing as well as resources to allow you to complete all of the challenges.

I have been taking some courses on Udemy and it gave me a lot of knowledge, especially in iOS app development. But this course has been a little bit different from the others. Grant is very special in his teaching, he has this calm voice that make you relaxed and not stressed, and I love the fact that he make misstakes during the lectures and somehow shows how to solve these problems, by either look it up on apples documentation or search for it on google. Since we all gonna end up with problems during programming, it is good to see an typical example of how we can solve it through the examples from Grant. Everything I have learned through self improvement has somehow been more described in this course, which made me understand the parts even more, I really like that. And the last thing is the lectures form Stanford University. Since I want to start my own company in the future and build applications, it is really nice to hear a lot from people who also have taken these steps, especially from big companies which started from 2-3 people and now are really huge!

Easy to follow, simple solutions that encourage you to work to find fixes or enhancements without blindly following along. Great instructor and a great course.

Really clear, great delivery. The course will help you build apps quickly. The focus is more on creation and getting something running than on code. Spending more time on coding fundamentals would help!

Okay... so I bought this course thinking that I will probably ask for a refund withing a couple of days of purchase. Now, I'm 25% through the course and am loving iOS development. I don't own a Mac so I wake up everyday 1 hour earlier, so that I could borrow my girlfriend's Mac and code for 1 hour before I go to work. I've browsed throughout the whole course content and I think that it is well thought and there are plenty of exercises, which start from simple apps to more complicated ones. I'm not sure if it is thorough enough for complete coding newbies, but as a .NET developer I'm really comfortable with the speed (explanation and new information) Congrats on the good course!

This is a brilliant course. The instructor makes it so easy to understand what things are and he gets to point and does not go on with irrelevant topics as some other courses might do. I have only done a few lessons but so far I am very impressed.

I may revise this at a later time, but currently the coursework is not as seamless or easy as communicated by Grant. The content is understandable, but if feels like there is big leap to be made (logic-wise) for a beginner to take the concepts just learned and then somehow be able to put together the logic to complete the homework. Feels a bit antagonizing when he keeps repeating that this is easy and assumes all students are breezing through without difficulty. It'd be helpful for reassurance to be given periodically if everything isn't coming together quite yet. I'll decide over the next week if I'll request a refund.

In my opinion, It's good for me and every body to learn swift from this course. Your content is very clear and not complicate. Well done man. I want you to keep teaching. PS. Great Teacher.
