The Ultimate Blender 3D Environments Course (Udemy.com)

I've FINALLY finished this course after months of putting it off, but after finishing the first forest environment render. I was hooked! Alex's teaching style is both fun and thoughtful as he navigates and tells us Blender's shortcut and his explanations on how to design the environments. Honestly, this is the first course I finished that's above 10 hours long, and I have a pretty lousy attention span, but going through each section definitely builds up my eagerness and confidence to do more. With this, I can finally tackle the environments I can dream of as this course gives a big head start to my 3D journey :) I will absolutely continue completing Alex's other courses, particularly animation and geometry nodes in the future! Das war ein Wirklich schöner Kurs. An manchen Stellen etwas alt (die Nodes und andere Dinge waren oder könnten anders gemacht werden). Aber wenn man dann die richtige Stellen gefunden hatte, funktionierte alles einwandfrei. This was a really nice course. A bit old in places (the nodes and other things were or could be done differently). But once you found the right places, everything worked perfectly.

Estoy muy satisfecho con los resultados obtenidos en este curso. Lo que más me ha gustado es la forma en que el instructor ha abordado los diferentes aspectos de la creación de escenarios, desde la modelación básica hasta la iluminación y el renderizado. Gracias a sus enseñanzas, he logrado crear escenas mucho más realistas y detalladas de lo que imaginaba. Además, he descubierto nuevas herramientas y técnicas que me serán de gran utilidad en futuros proyectos.

To be honest i am not even finishing this course myself for almost 1 year now after i bought it. But yet even when i just learned it half way trought from this course i gain confidence to make much more environment artwork and even sometimes come back here just to check for reference that i can use for some of my projects. But yeah, this course is a great one for the starter point simple and straight to point. If anyone wonder where i put my artwork, you can check it in my instagram page @septoart

I think it's a fine course for beginners, there are honestly much better courses for advanced users, but this one is accessible, you don't need a powerful pc or 60h to do things and goes through most of the basics while still having some neat tricks, however there also are some questionable practices and the final result isn't very professional in my honest opinion. As a positive, it comes with plenty of free textures, they are not necessary the best, but its nice to have then. Be warned though, they are very disorganized, all of then are duplicated making the downloads two times bigger they should be.

The course is great, but it only covers the technical parts of ''how to do what you need'', while it doesn't mention what makes a scene look good or more interesting. It's still definitely worth buying tho, if you need an introduction to environment art.

I've done a few courses with Alex and I come away from each one with a broader knowledge of Blender and 3D graphics. He gives you so much in all his courses and makes each section fun and exciting while building on previous sections and touching on new topics throughout the course.

I really enjoyed this course. The instructor explained everything quite well and made it easy to understand. I gained much more knowledge of using Blender's powerful tools than when I attempted to self-teach myself in the past. Only suggestion would be to include how to create a volcanic/lava-based environment and this course would be perfect!

Goes through the tutorials really quick, so it's a good one if you have done some blender before. I would recommend a separate course for brand new Blender users first to get the basics down, but it's a great course once you've gotten some hours into Blender already.

A good course, especially for beginners. Teaches a lot of the fundamental skills needed to do a variety of scenes. I learned about some tools I'd never used before, one I didn't know was even there. This is not a course on how to do one or two things and make them look like a pro. Its more about teaching you the foundational skills you'll need to become a pro. This was a good investment of my time and has helped me become better with using Blender.
